Shame,but each to there own,I don't actually like to see dead and blood stained animals in any detail or whatever but they help you picture the outing and scenery you know...

Feildcraft,- The Brooks Have No Footprints But The Puddles Do?

I've always thought the birds use puddles as they are safer using them,they see pretty much all round and are hard to get near,a brook would mask movement,sound etc,could be way off but not something you think about too much,or maybe I will now you've mentioned it and I'll lose sleep!! Anyhow if you shoot them over a puddle at least you get a clearer shot and easier retrieve! -
Be surprised if he hasn't! Tried everything in existence at least once! On topic though it is a good spirit you lads have with the giving away and lending of things,you've handed out you're share Mac so enjoy...

Good walk then,nice to get a squirrel,I think they are a good air rifle quarry,so alert/agile etc makes them a testing one to stalk,out of interest how far was it for you to misjudge the range??

Nice going,that's quite a bit of work you're having done there,take it this gun is a keeper then,not to piss on your chips but as I read through the list of work to be done I sort of thought why not buy a rifle more like hat from the off??

Think I have to agree that the little details can make a big difference,I like the look of it,makes it a bit different,like a rosewood cap the walnut stocks sometimes come with you know?..

Sort of night you remember that is,be laughing as you tell it to people for a while,worth it though when getting to know new kit even though you have enough to concentrate on! Whet sort of ranges were you getting them at,out of nosiness?

My boss had one in his garden recently,as said not too common,we read up on them and apparently they fly in the rain and come back to the same spots so you could see it again...
