  1. only found out about bullseye being to fast last year after i had bought 6tubs.will change to vhit when it eventually runs out.as for loading i am very methodical being an engineer, everything is done to a certain stage and not out of sequence.50 at a time and as for double loads this will never happen as i check all levels are the same in each case with a torch, cheers
  2. well the target started with the furthest out top right then improved,i adjusted and put the low one just below the bull.next five went into the bull after i held onto the gun a little tighter.best group i have ever shot with a u/lever
  3. well just for future reference 158gr t,cs shoot very well with the 1.57" o/all length and 4.75gr of bullseye in a henry.after getting the first five shoots out of the way as my hold was too soft i put 5 rounds through the bull of my target at 50y just rested on my hand onto the shooting rest aka as you shoot a springer.will put photo up tomorrow as i have left it at work
  4. do not know what i typed was wrong and have no warning points.confused.did not intend to offend anyone .sorry for any wrong doing on my part
  5. apparently i can not post my reply as the something will not let me.i get a emogy "sp" that shows it shooting itself in the head wtf
  6. if there comes a time that the quakes hit lets say above a number 2 then things need to be looked at.these tremors can not be felt so for now no harm is done
  7. i know it is a well underestimated calibre.i have a lot of respect for it and have shown to other people just how powerfull this is.actually was asked up the club yesterday what is the biggest animal that can be leagally taken with it.had to think about it but i think it is fox which if true does make you wonder why the yanks can shoot wild boar, black bear and other much larger animals with it
  8. any info would be helpfull.my .357 158gn rnfp,s work well at 20y but at 50y are shite.bought some tc,s today and was just wondering if anybody uses them with bullseye.after overall length if different to 1.57" for the rnfp.s and what weight of powder, cheers
  9. well on the advise from the gun shop my new vortex crossfire scout 2-7x32 turned up today but it could not be used on my rifle.it is more like a pistol scope and needed to be fitted on the end of barrel to get the eye relief right.so a vortex strike eagle 1-6x24 was mounted instead .will zero the little magnum tomorrow, could not get over the picture from that little lens as it is only 24mm
  10. so it turns out i can not shoot without a scope so i had to go back to the shop to get a rail and new mounts to fit an old niko stirling platinum 1.5-6x36 "nightforce" i think scope.results were good for a new gun.shot a 97 ex 100 standing at 20y then moved out to 50y and shot a 10 shot group rested of a bench
  11. thank you it is so smooth compared to my 2009 marlin and no more floppy trigger
  12. just picked up my new .357 henry and need suggestions for a nice little scope.my eyes are not up to the job and i am looking to spend up to £350 for something like a 2-7x36 ish compact scope that is not to too big looking for my little u/lever.
  13. not come anywhere near to a rhino but did round a corner in a nature reserve in canada and have a little bison 20yards in front of me.now that was big enough and i did not also feel very safe inside the car
  14. i like beretta so much i have two.silver pidgeon and a 400light semi with the kick off
  15. for me it is the pro sport it was as accurate as a pcp looked better than any other airgun.never had to tune one but my vglided hw80 came a very close 2nd
  16. nice shooting above.my little rem 700 likes sierra 1410 52gr with 22.8gr of vhit 133.£75 for a tub is a good price though i pay more like £85.below typical groups at 100m
  17. great choice of airgun i have the ktl with a bushnell 6500 2.5-16x42 elite on mine and with this combo i rarely miss.pellet wise mine loves the jsb 4.53 8.44gr
  18. as i was up the club today i thought i would start at 20y then move to 25y then have a go at 50y all standing unsupported.now i have not shot at a target at 50 y for a few years and it was a little windy which did put an end to my card but i did put 15 shots into that group with my little .22lr weatherby.not a bad group i think apart from that flyer
  19. might be worth a look.can not get any info on the homepage as it will not load
  20. i did watch a bit more of it on the telly last night but turned it off when those poor desperate souls started to jump
  21. no as i do not have smart phone
  22. not a good idea as the sharks were the top predators now you have the fecking evil humbolt squid taking over as top predator.
  23. do you think that a certain ducati rider who is on pole is making a massive mistake going to honda next year or has he not been trying all year and is just now showing what he can really do when he tries and it does not matter what bike he is on ?
  24. the hw 80 is as accurate as anything else but you need to have years of practice behind the trigger to be able to compete.sorry to state the obvious but if you have been shooting that airgun for ten years and can hit anything then you could clear a hft course with it.i for one bought a new s400 put a scope on it and got all my aim points within 2 hours and went out the next day and shot a 48 with it,but i have shot more than a couple of rounds with over ten years experience shooting all types of weapons
