    nothing wrong with any semi auto .22lr.lots of fun putting those little bullets down range as fast as you can pull the trigger.have the tippman myself and you should have shot on the right hand side of the guy who does not like assult rifles?

    yes i have a vortex 1-8x24 strike eagle but when shooting standing with the u/lever too little mag is better than too much.the bull is 1" and the ten ring is 2" for reference

    well after shooting like a muppet for a while my form is comming good again.pratice as they say is what pays off.shooting the .357 henry is more and more fun every outing and my confidence is growing.my average i gave for the comp not that long ago was 173 ex 200 now it is more like 180 ex 200.todays eforts resulting in two 181,s and a 185.very happy and not too bad shooting on 6x mag and the target at 50m looking about the size of a 1pence coin

    my little brattonsound ammo safe is15" high x 9.5"deep and 10.5" wide and that is only just big enough if i have my limit of ammo

    well you would have thought after shooting comps for over a decade i would have sorted out the jitters.my latest 50m u/lever comp starts at the end of the month and it had really messed with my head this time.practice before the comp had been going ok untill the ist round date started to get near.scores had dropped by a 3rd.never before have i suffered this bad from the little white sticker.so today i put the first card up and hit 169/200 so better than of late but not up to my average.the improvement gave me my confidence back so i put another card up and bam 95/100 never shot that before.fun

    i change it maybe once a year and i reload a lot(over4000.357alone).will take longer to clean when it gets older

    when i had my .25bsa springer it really liked the hn but only the lighter pellets as they did 2 different weights.was nice to hit bottle tops at 50m standing too

    there is nothing like making your own then getting far better groups out of your rifle than with factory ammo.my little rem700 likes 22.8gr vhit133,1410 sierra 52gr hpbt,2.232" oa length.has taken me 2 years trigger time total to be able to shoot consistantly accurately.a few typical groups at 100m

    could out shoot him no problem,during the film i actually got bored half way though,never thought i would say that.just too much when he and miss berry go nuts.was impressed with his loading of the shotgun though,lots of pratice to look that good and fast.

    well as usual what a load of shite.current mot runs out on the 30/05/2019 so it is valid but i can not tax the car.i thought wrongly as it has not run out i could tax the car but the computer say no ffs.mot has to be valid from when the tax starts,fecking joke.mot is booked for friday car will be dropped of prior to it running out so car will not be on the road.total shite just want to pay my fecking tax but not allowed to do so.rant over

    cheers i know about the choice of powder being too fast but i had bought a lot of it when the powder shortage came.still got 1 1/4 tubs left so will have to use that up then try something from vhit

    load is 158gr hard cast tc,s with 4.35gr of bullseye,fiocchi primers and 1.57" o a l using cbc .357 mag brass.not tried plated jacketed bullets due to cost.the barrel does not get too hot due to the load and i do not shoot too fast.will look up the final lock up fix and see it it applies,cheers

    well as all other options have failed i had hoped my last resort was that my loading was to blame for not being able to shoot the .357 henry no more at 50m.all else had been checked so i put the gun on the old rest with the mag at 6x and the target at 50m and i fired 10shots to see if the gun was still working ok.results are.looks like it is the muppet behind the trigger as i can still take the bull out at 20y no problem but 50m,no chance.
