  2. Got a 22 bsa lightning xl nicely grained stock and shoots nice a small patch of bluing thinned but overall good nick pm me if interested
  3. A 22 airgun silencer will fit a 22 rimmy and do a good job of silencing it, if you have 3 or 4 guns with moderators who is to say which moderator belongs to what gun
  4. can you not just buy a new silencer and swap it over as they don't have serial numbers so the only person that knows its been swapped is you
  5. A lot of conflicting advice on the issue guys and I take it all on board as I already have a 22 rimmy I just fancied something between a sub 12 airgun and the rimmy
  6. I suspected as much I've a few airguns and would have no problem tuning one to fac levels, just needed to know if anyone had done it this way, reckon I'll have to have a word with an RFD to find out how to go about it thanks for the reply's guys
  7. As I have a slot on my ticket for a 22 fac air rifle does any one know if I'm allowed to tune an air rifle to fac levels myself and put it on ticket or do I have to go through an rfd/gunsmith to get it
  8. been considering chopping my rimmy down to 14 inch but wondering if it will make it inaccurate
  9. I use winchester subs and have not had any problems but tried some eley's that my mate got with a gun he bought and found they shot just as well as the winchesters through my cz 22 but like yourself cannot find a local supplier for the eley. I believe they are cheaper than winchesters aswell
  10. my mate just had his first renewal and asked the officer about open ticket he explained about people asking to do odd fox jobs and pest control and was granted his open ticket, it may also depend on which area your in and the officer you speak to
  11. i have converted a rear scope cover with a red filter to fit the p7 it works a treat
  12. I had a 97 in 22 and a prosport in 177 both tuned loved them both but sold the prosport and kept the 97 only 1 word for it smoooooth
  13. wish this had come up 6 month ago mate i recently bought a p7 led lenser and happy with it so far for rabbit lamping, and i'm only a few miles up the road from you
  14. last time i did some panic buying i came home with a new gun lol wife not impressed as i was supposed to buy her something for xmas
  15. just spotted this thread i have a 16 inch barrel 22 and threaded for moderator and looking for £50
  16. had gas ram and spring power in my time and much prefer springers a tuned springer just seems smoother and less sudden
  17. i would go along with mac on the 177 but look at a 95k with a silencer, a tuned one (easy diy) is smooth quiet and accurate
  18. sounds like you could do with a full strip and service and it won't be cheap and as for the bluing a home job is nowhere near as good as a pro job, maybe try the air arms forum some good guys on there
  19. had a similar problem a few years ago and it was the scope not in line with the barrel as said re zero to 45yds then shoot at 30 yds and you'll probably find it shooting the other way a bit
  20. an exellent choice as i said earlier my favourite gun and as also said above an easy strip and a tune to make it even smoother, find the right pellet for it and your on a winner
  21. i've got a 95k with the silencer and its smooth and quiet my fave gun and i have tried just about everything including rimfire but saying that the tx is a nice gun if you get a good one
