Had loads of bova with 1 myself and had to shim the rear mount, you would think yukon would have spotted this flaw and done something about it by now as it seems everyone having the same trouble
had a raider 10 in walnut a number of years back and a nice gun it was ! never heard or seen a 12 in synthetic but if it as good as the old 10 then why not
You must have deep pockets Phil as it sounds as if you have quite a collection, I used to have quite a few guns myself a few years back but found I was using the same couple of guns when I went out so sold most of them off. This got me thinking how many of us really need or use all the guns that we have
A couple of good suggestions there the CO2 smk in particular is light and easy to use and a lot of tuning add ons out there should you wish to modify it as the boy grows
Talking about webley's I had an old brummie Stingray in 22 which I gave £50 for;it was stripped polished and relubed and would take a flies nads off at 25mtrs but as usual my mate bugged me to sell as his father in law was after a gun, another I wish I had kept
Anything is possible but I think the idea of the gun was for kids to have a low powered easy to cock and smooth to shoot springer, I think upping the power would make it a bit harsh and lively to shoot
It would'nt matter if everyone in the country had a licence arseholes like this will always be able to get hold of and use guns to the detriment of law abiding people you just can't legislate for them
If i'm bored with stalking I'll walk into the field within range of the warrens scatter the rabbits whats out then lie down usually the bunnies will be back out within 20 mins
Talking of retro shooting I've got a BSA Cadet Major 177 and its perfect for the grandson and me in the garden, open sights and power wise doing about 7 fpe and because its a small gun it fits the boy a treat
Had one of these in 22 when they first came out and what a nice gun, Fit me like a glove it did and took some vermin out aswell but as you do I sold it to buy the next big thing and to be honest can't even remember what that was now, you live and learn
Thanks for all the info guys, it seems as if its not as easy as I thought, The gun shoots sweet enough as it is so I think I'll leave it, Don't no what I'll get for xmas now then lol
