  1. When the M69 was being built my old man worked on the Hinckley to Leicester stretch, One weekend i was at work with him and happened to be following one of the scrappers, I picked up dozens of Roman coins that day, No idea what happened to them though, Lol.
  2. Anyway back on topic, Do these idiots believe by banning falconry then all red and amber list birds would make an immediate recovery! Licenses to take certain species of birds have been in the falconry world for over 50 years that i know too, In fact back then you could even apply for a license to take birds of prey from the wild. Again its a left wing, woke, knee jerk reaction without the bigger picture being looked at.
  3. Irelands_Migrant_Crisis - Rebel News WWW.REBELNEWS.COM Irish citizens are rising up in large numbers through peaceful demonstrations around the country to oppose uncontrolled mass immigration.
  4. Funny you are mentioning spraying, when i was out with the dogs in the past, i found a good few birds whose eyes were covered in a blue like film they were just sat on the ground unable to fly, Jackdaws and rooks were the main species although i did once find a jay with the same symptom's, I have also recently found a couple of road kill hares down the lanes that had swollen eyes,
  5. Makes a change for them not to have escaped from Woburn Lol
  6. I had my first HMR over 20 years ago, All they are is a necked down 22WMR case
  7. People say No but in my experience i would say yes providing there's an abundant food source, Get out at night as they are far more active after dark.
  8. They do a .17 HMR in rimfire and a 17 hornet in centrefire
  9. Heaven Forbid, Why has nobody thought of that before,
  10. More like an aquatic Pine martin mate, They are far bigger than you think when you see one up and close.
  11. No, Most of the comments are just hot air still.
  12. ANYWAY ABOUT THESE BALLOONS Lol
  13. Otters are nomadic and opportunistic when it comes to food. Around here they use the canals as highways eating mainly the signal crayfish they contain but if an opportunity arises they will exploit that food resource until its depleted then move on.
  14. I read somewhere that moles only need a blood gas mixture of 5% oxygen, I agree that fox toxin or whatever gas used would be near useless in mole tunnels due to the small size and lack of air flow, In the past Worms laced with Strychnine where used, Then came the verminator using a mix of propane and air, a f***ing scary Mary bit of kit and the rules they placed on the use of it killed it as a viable pest control solution.
  15. Simple answer is, If you are born a man then you will remain a man biologically no matter what you mind thinks or what you get done to your body. Its a mental illness, Something the Nazi Scientists proved, The same goes for women.
  16. Nothing to do with the £600000 That's gone missing from The SNP funds then Lol.
  17. More likely he had told her that he was seeing someone else, Hence the police thinking she had gone into the river, Taking the harness off the dog and leaving her phone on the bench.
  18. They can not even agree between themselves never mind with other country sports mate, Match anglers wanting zander removed and the predator anglers wanting them leaving alone to quote one example,
  19. It can take quite a while for a BOP to dispatch a rabbit depending on the species of bird, Size of the bird. experience of the bird and the size of the rabbit, Most of the time the falconer completes that task. How is that any different to a dog that retrieves live to hand! Absolutely Bonkers mate.
  20. Apparently my misses make the best Quiche in the area, I have no idea as i think it would be akin to eating semi set puke,
  21. But both steak pies and Quiche contain Pastry Lol
  22. It depends how you look at it. Peak fitness i would say 4 to 6 but they also get clever as the get older, I had an old dog who at over 11 would still put stuff in the bag on a regular basis, Even lamping on short grass where he should have been straight lined every time but he learnt to crash the cover after the chase, probably a 50/50 success rate, On hare he would just potter about watching the other dog running then exploit any point where the hare had to cross ditches or through hedges.
