    i bred a litter of bull whippet/ bull grey collie grey pups. one bitch threw to the whippet, I gave her to a mate, she would completely ignore rabbits either daytime or on the lamp, But Hares well there another story, The bloke who had her was no big lurcher man, he had spaniels and beat on a couple of the local shoots, Everyday he would walk his dogs around the local area. This bitch caught 32 hare on 32 consecutive days just whilst out on his morning walk.

    This thing with cats tails and thermal, Obviously thermal shows heat. If say a cat is in cold weather than the body will tend to reduce blood flow to the extremities as this is where it cools the quickest, so a cold tail is like us with cold fingers, less heat then less heat signature, again in wet weather thermal effectiveness is reduced.

    Width of tree to length of cat could be done from the picture as a quick scale. this would not take into account the distance the cat is from the tree mind but it would give an indication if the width of the tree was known.

    They are strange character's that's for sure, Mistral the blue whippet i owned would yelp if i even looked at her the wrong way in home, But once outside, i could pick her up by the scruff and chuck her over a 4ft hedge without her making a sound. She was the only dog i have ever owned that would crown the ferret in a stop end.

    Wasn't Laguna the kennel club prefix for whippets bred by Dorrit McKay and then carried on by her daughter Lilah Bong Gunning along with Colonel Walsh, Didn't someone gift a dog pup (Sooty Sam) to that bloke in North Wales, something Brown i think his name was, He then went on to produce litter after litter with the Laguna name slightly attached shall i say Lol.

    I recently purchased one of these along with an MTC viper Pro and Tatsu silencer. FFS i can not believe how accurate it is, Went to the Range on Sunday with a couple of family members as we do most weekends, 30,40 and 60 yards pellet on pellet apart from when i fluffed the shot up. Now here is the problem after about an hour i got bored as it was no challenge. So next Sunday its back to the Dianna 25 with open sites. On the hunting side, i hit a squirrel at the bottom of the garden right in its eyeball yesterday, 1 shot, so its a keeper on accuracy for pest control.
