  1. Not what observed when i spent nearly a week, everyday for 10 hours or more on a hospital ward, a few weeks ago, 8 beds, 2 nurses, 4 of these beds had patients waiting for a care plan before they could be released from hospital. 1 old bloke suffering from Delirium, stripping his clothes of and pulling the sheets off himself constantly, I witnessed one young nurse redress and remake his bed 12 times in one afternoon alone,
  2. The NHS is broken mate, Its about to completely fall apart, The Government will blame, Covid, Brexit, Strikes and probably the War in Ukraine, The truth is, To make it work again Funding would need to be probably trebled if not more than that. then there's the way that money is spent and by who and on what, The problem is we are all living too long and with that longevity come all the ailments that go with old age. The NHS was modelled to treat emergencies, not for long term care, Long term care costs thousands per week, Money that most normal folk don't have, Yes the government pick up

The outside is the easy part, But there's more ice on the inside than the outside, Plus the twin metal sun roof drips all over your head as it defrosts ?

    At last

No fun defrosting my old freelander, f***ing heap of shite ?
  6. I worked for an ex forces charity as a case worker for the best part of 10years, Voluntary i may add, When you see one of the heads of THE Royal Air Force Benevolent Fund Turn up in a brand new Wedgewood blue Jag with a registration plate of RAF3 then it starts to make you wonder, One can only assume they had RAF 1 and 2 as well, The charity i worked for was a go between all the military charities and trust me there are hundreds and hundreds of them all with there own paid staff and directors. I have to admit i got totally disillusioned and packed it in.
  7. I am not admitting to being a part of this, BUT a good few years ago a mate of mine came up with an idea whilst we were sat in the Pub one evening, Every Thursday morning there was a group of elderly ladies who went on a walk up one of the local lanes. watching birds and other wildlife through binoculars, A plan was hatched, a stuffed mountain lion was borrowed and the place chosen for it to be placed, Lets just say it worked brilliant, In fact so brilliant a local member of Her Majesties Constabulary had to be told before it all got out of hand.
  8. It wasn't until not that long ago that, that law still existed in the Armed Forces, same for women getting pregnant too, I watched the Remembrance day march past, There was a group marching who were made out to be persecuted gays and pregnant women who were treated so badly before the law was changed. I was a bit wound up at them being there to be fair. When all of those people pledged their elegance that were fully aware of the rules, If they had been marching on there own merit then i would have had no issues but to march as a group was wrong in my opinion.
  9. Because a forum is not the real world, That's the whole point. Just choose to ignore unless you want to answer. As i have said previously, I can not make my mind up either way on breeding populations but i will say with 100% certainty that there have been big cats at large in the countryside in the past, For me to believe there still is, I would have to be saying that there is a breeding population, Something i just don't think is possible. But i could be proven wrong,
  10. I though the way it was alluded to in the programme was done well. Just a mere touching of a hand on the piano.
  11. Take the earthquake in Haiti a few years back, over 1.5 billion pounds raised to help. That money built 6 prefab houses the rest was lost in what i would loosely call administration expenses, Not to mention the massive rise in Rape cases perpetrated by those sent there to help.
  12. My thoughts are simple, i believe in the odd big cat, In fact i have actually seen the body of a shot Puma in real life, not a photo or a recollection of a sighting by someone, admittedly this was a good few years ago now, Do i believe there are others still out there? Yes and No ? Its a lot like UFO`s all the proof is out there and yet no proof is out there, Keeping an open mind is always the best option, This is the reason this thread will remain open as the questions are still unanswered.
  13. Always checked mine over under the first street lamp as we came back into the village. Anything that required a better look or treatment was done before being put back into the kennels.
  14. Kept the odd old dog in the house but the others were always kennelled. I believe in each having our own space plus its far easier with kennels when you get home and there covered in shit from head to toe and stinking like only wet dogs can, The truth is, its down to each of us to decide what's best for our own situation.
  15. Had them for years mate. Them, a good pair of boots and Gaiter's, Better than paddling around in wellingtons.
  16. Bigger Balls than todays generation, RIP
  17. Sorry mate still not getting it, have owned fully conditioned bull crosses that ignore sheep but would run through a brick wall to get to other things, admittedly not all are like this but i certainly would only need to see a bad trait twice before that was sorted. I have had dogs that retrieve rabbits and hares live to hand, deer would just be held but a fox would be mullered, If one even looked at a sheep wrongly i would be on edge even though sheep can have an effect on a dog like no other animal, I suppose it all depends on your own standards and what you are expecting from your dog.
  18. Must admit i was tempted, But then thought, Well that's something you don't see everyday, As it happens i got to know the bloke it belonged to, Nice chap, ended up inside doing 7 years for firearms offences ?
