  3. never did any good with full grown rabbits in these, had no problems for mink and rat. had my hand in one once, that made me go oooouch  but full grown rabbits, all i ever found in them was fur, did catch half grown and smaller. i had more sucess with magnum bodygrips
  4. feel its brestbone then you will know in conjunction with its weight how much to feed it, then again the amount will depend on whot your feeding, how much exercise the birds getting etc.
  5. good guns built to last rugged and reliable i found elley subs were the best for not jamming and winchester/remmingtons were the worst....atb paulus
  6. 2 of them green plastic coated plant poles from the garden centre and a couple of strong elasitic bands. just cut to fit your size

  8. cz nickel synthetic for me. choice was easy good value, trigger cheap to put right, but the main thing its ability to withstand the weather and the knocks and bangs of everyday use. wood just doesnt take the punishment.
  9. To be honest I think the bottom line is that Sharon has stated that her and her husband are nothing to do with the people that have been allegedly ripping people off across the Internet. If this is true, then great but if it's not and believe me there are a lot of people on the Internet, they will be found out and frankly their business will go bang over night. I don't think they have an obligation to explain how they run their business, they do have an obligation to fulfill orders. So lets wait and see, and report back about the service. John as i said earlier

  11. both deerhound and saluki take a long time to mature, even longer if its a dog aswell. might come good, might not, only time and work will tell

  13. just keep at it, early in the season yet. try taking another more experenced dog out with him abit of compatition might be whot he neeeds. some people arnt lucky enough to have large amounts of bunnys to run at so the dog will take longer to get the idea.
  14. ive had 2 cz511`s and they are bob on, the trigger would need doing by a gunsmith, mike norris does a good job.
  15. small lamps like the cluelite ect work fine in small fields but are useless at any distance as the beam just widens out to nothing, the blitz however is also good in small fields but can cope with the larger fields aswell. no brainer in my book.
  16. traditional maybe, super human fit you must be we built a box with handles on and 2 people carried it, thank god for progress
  17. just because you'v been in the game the longest doesnt mean you kno more than others.... ill shine a clulite in your eyes from 50 yards away and then a 240 blitz im sure you will get further with the clulite in your eyes!! i dont think im an expert on lamps but it isnt rocket science toi kno the more powerfull the lamp the blinder the quarry will be... one word bollocks
  18. it dont work like that mate, fleas and ticks also attach themselves to other mammels fox, badger, squirrels, hedgehogs, mink, rats, mice etc and birds so the desease is spread, also if a buzzard or fox picks up an infected one thats full of fleas and takes it away to another area to eat it then there will be a good chance that the infected fleas will jump onto another hoast in that area so the desease spreads. its also tends to be cyclic aswell.
