  1. keep the pen roof as low as possible as they will fly up and scalp themselves. angle the floor toward the front so eggs roll forward, wire floors that slide out with a solid tray underneth that also slide out for cleaning are good. seal all joints with corking or silicon to aid mite control.
  2. be interesting to see how they work, although i suspect they wont last long in the field, as i read it as they give a short high burst of power to say start a motorbike and then rely on the alternator to recharge before the next use, could be wrong.
  3. If that's aimed at me? What am I jealous of? The 2 RR Sports that Decoying UK used to have parked outside their unit? You'd be wrong there, I'd rather not have the hassle and bad name they've got, even if it was rewarded by a posh car. Yes, good luck to Sharon and co, as long as they are who they say they are! time will tell and the truth always comes to the surface
  4. i understand that it must be difficult with the other lot being so close and having such a bad rep. perhaps you should contact Ian and set up some form of advertising on here? as with these sites, good things travel as fast as bad things
  5. dont know about the history with the other company other than whot ive just read on here, but if your running a purely internet based company then reputation is everything as theres no glossy mags, windows and racks full of things to pull in customers. everything relies on your reputation/feedback. These sort of sites will be your advertising agents as word travels fast around them. :hmm:

  11. ive had 2 do this one a saluki cross never did stop doing it, the other one i bred myself ate the first couple so i took him out with his father and ran them togeather he couldnt eat it then as the older dog wouldnt let him they started to retrieve togeather, now hes fine and retrieves to hand no problems. theres only so many a dog can eat, just put him onto another then another see whot happens.
  12. is it a first cross? she might have thrown more to the collie meaning her herding instinct will be strong, ive seen 1`st crosses drop them time and time again as if they preffer the chase more than anything else. just something your going to have to live with fella. you could try a spot of ratting with her that might make her bite a bit harder.
  13. i wouldnt be in to much of a rush to use antibiotics/anti inflamatorys mate if it only happend the other night as you say and the wound is healing fine with just salt water bathing. the swelling takes a good few days to start to reduce. just keep an eye on it.
