  1. That's just reminded me..................lorry's that over take other lorry's, which often takes 5 miles to do so......
  2. My mates got the bellman box, but I think I'm gonna pick up one of the barryvox's this year...........from what I've heard, pin-point accuracy seems a little a better? Cheers anyway....
  3. Would the element be as accurate as the pulse?
  4. Do you remember ch4 showing women's football years ago? I seem to remember there were a lot of goals......
  5. Driving gloves make me feel kinda powerful & sexy........ String back type with brown palms (as seen in the London to Brighton vintage run) or the tight leather ones with black and white checks across the knuckles (as in 1977 episode of The Sweeney) ? Whatever comes to hand before I strangle a prostitute.......

  7. I find I have a rant nearly every day about driving in belgium, it's fcuking terrible! They were one of, if not the last European country to bring in compulsory driving tests (1977) & it fcuking shows!! Narrowly avoiding collisions seems to be a daily occurrence for me haha..... My pet hate is bourgeois middle aged women in Range Rovers, who seem to think their vehicle is 2m wider than it actually is!
  8. They are a pest with cars here..........apparently its youngsters that do the damage, crawling in & chewing cables etc You buy 'marten spray' to keep them away haha........of course I didn't know any of this until it cost me €200 in damage to my car haha.....
  9. Correct they are able to catch and kill the grey squirrel but they will also kill every other small animal or game birds they come in contact with and wipe out a pen of fowl if they gain entry.A local man to me actually seen forestry reps releasing pine martin into a young forestry but yet at an nargc meeting when asked they denied this. when i was told this would help reds re establish, i asked how and they reckon the reds are lighter so can go further out on branches than a grey can to avoid the marten, it sounded a bit far fetched to me but who knows, never seen a red. We have beech &
  10. I know the law is ridiculous, but it wasn't about working out what's worse....dog or hawk? It was about bad press........ How many times over the years have you seen or read bad publicity concerning falconry? Then think about how many times you've seen bad press concerning coursing & foxhunting........ Very different public perceptions.........speaking as someone that's been involved in all three, hawks are seen very differently..... With hawks I had more permission than I needed, with lurchers.......hahaha..... I've known antis that were still fascinated with the hawks even thoug
  11. The funniest thing is she didn't look black anyway................just looked like a girl in the make-up department of debenhams haha.......

  18. The opening titles to BBC 2's Arena....... The imagery & music by Brian Eno just really got me........ Sorry can't put link up :-(
  19. I like it........my brother in law asked me a little while back "do you still walk the dog when it rains......." When I relied yes.....he laughed in my face & shook his head in disbelief! haha....
  20. Never been, never will now.....
  21. I struggle with spelling & grammar & if it wasn't for my Ipad spell check I'd come across as pretty illiterate. For some I think it's just a kind of mental block, not just education. I left school with a B grade in English literature & despite spending a life time reading all sorts, from contemporary to classic literature.......I would still struggle to recite the alphabet without faltering 3/4 of the way through haha..... .....& it's not always about upbringing either, me & brother both had the same schooling & upbringing......he done a degree, then got a scholarship
  22. Must be a bunch of insomniacs, where do you find the time? lol
