I saw it for the first time yesterday, it seemed ingenious, especially that it saves fannying around tying bands/loops etc........but I did have my doubts about how useful it would be in the field.....

I think for the most part you're right, but I guess the mainstream has always been like that to a degree..........as you get older your expectations become lower as well which makes it even worse! Haha..... There's still some interesting stuff out there, it may not make the 'big bucks' or the headlines.......but enough to still keep me passionate about new music ;-) Check out bbc radio six music...............that's where I get most of my tips from these days....

I really can't stand Kanye West & I can guarantee if I was at the festival I would be elsewhere when he performed....... .....& that's the beauty of Glastonbury as far as I'm concerned.......it's so big & so much going on, you could spend three days of enjoying all kinds of music & performance art & still be completely oblivious of the headlining acts of the main stage..... The TV gives you a fraction of the options available at the festival...........judging from your arm chair at home just DOESN'T COUNT!
