You will need to find more than 2 earths to keep a digging dog employed lol Also what would you do with said digging dog when he comes of age and decides he isn't interested in work? (I only ask as you seem fairly inexperienced). It happens, more often than not. There's not many lurcher that will not kill a rat or put a few rabbits in the bag for you. ATB

    does any one know who or where I should be looking for a good dog of either type? Well my advice is watch what you buy on here. A huge proportion of it will be shite, don't buy an adult dog off any of these sites you will take a big gamble if you do. Better opt for a well bred pup from someone well respected. Whether that is someone you know, or know of. Or if needs must, off here.

    Go onto a website called. bush wear.co.uk. Under lamping section you want the Cyclops seeker lamp it's 29.99 and has outlasted any light force lamp I've had. It's not the tightest of beams but at less than 1/2 the price of the others you won't be complaining. ATB

    Lot of shit talked on this thread. Sounds like a young lad to me and could be fooled into thinking this dog will cost him close to 500 quid before it even gets started! A pup can cost you feck all depending on who you know jabs, wormer and frontline can be cheap enough if you shop around and cost of feeding can be brought down if you supplement with cheap or free meat and scraps. Everything else ( fancy kennels,boxes, leads, expensive lamps) are all just material and not always necessary. Take things 1 step at a time. Just my opinion based on experience.
