  2. a Jill kit wanted within 30minutes drive of Milton keynes.........as young as possible......its for my 6 year old girl to pet (it will be worked by me come the winter also) not really bothered about colour please PM me if you have a litter...............
  3. id just stick a gas gun in there job done deer jump fences, muntjac are very good at making holes in fences if they cant jump them. and you cant eat what you shoot with a gas gun...... hope the original poster gets this done......its legal, and morally right.......if you were near me i would come and help........as a shotgun only has a limited range with buckshot you could have people at intervals through the wood..
  4. i agree fight fire with fire...........thats why we are in the sad position we are now because we didn't. however an admission alone is not enough for a conviction, you actually need the victim to report the matter and say i had some snares stolen..........simple rule in english law regarding property and assault.......no victim no crime............
  5. it would never come to a prosecution anyway........ you are acting within the law, the police will have no interest as long as no one calls them complaining.......you could even head that off by informing them you will be shooting vermin at that location and when........dont get into what vermin.......they may ask for your sgc details or fac details as well as your name etc......just to ensure you are legal. the rspca dont have a right of access to private land. and as you are not breaking any laws or causing any cruelty they wont have anything to go on. it is legal what you descri
  6. i have used a 12g and AAA to shoot muntjac a few times......they were causing damage to newly planted tree's in a wood adjacent to a house and a road......as such a rifle was out of the question and they dropped quiet well at 25 yards with 36gm of AAA when shot on the head and chest
  7. thats not what i was told......lol my mates an feo...........the accepted thing is that someone who you know who doesn't have access to your house can have the spare, a mate of mine who has a FAC and a SGC but doesn't have a set of keys to my house has my spare...and as he doesn't have a key to the house he cant get in and help himself ....he has to knock on the door and ask to borrow them...the other is on my key ring with my house keys and that is ALWAYS with me, either in my pocket , on my belt or when going to bed on my bedside table , good advice to take keys to bed anyway in case the
  8. No mate there Siver legged lion head eu angora x show ponies, peddler mad will say out to shift em ; ) LOL................ diggermad i think he is taking the piss........and given your avatar why would anyone ask if they are workers?
  9. to the original poster ask the feo what he wants you to do with your keys.....take his advice and lead.....it will be him granting your certificate anyway. a mate got asked gun safety questions about crossing ditches and fences and how to show that the guns empty by carrying it broken or with the chamber showing empty

  11. I struggled a few years back to find a Hob ferret, ended up buying one from a woman that had them as pets......best working ferret i ever had (and he is still going strong) .......worker to worker doesn't mean a great deal with ferrets i think that after myxi lots of todays ferrets are descended form a couple of generations that didn't work as there were no rabbits about for a while in most parts. shame this litter isn't nearer me I am looking for a jill kit for my little girl to pet.
  12. even better ask if they have anywhere you could try it and take a few shots........ if i was nearer i would come with you, not that i am an expert but a second opinion is always handy......haven't you got anyone who could come with you?
  13. your right, but it would also be legal for him to place them on someone else's certificate and do the transfer forms as loaned or gifted.....and if a friend with a licence took the guns in it wouldn't cost him anything as the RFD will charge him
  14. prices and location..............how much for the hushpower 20g pump action?
  15. no sorry. saying that there isnt a lot to a shotgun.. if the barrels are in good condition and the firing pins strike ok , and if it has ejectors they eject then thats the lot. take some snap caps to dry fire it and see if the firing pins are ok and it should also eject the snap caps if it has ejectors......look down the barrels and make sure no pitting or rust inside.

  18. i recently moved house.... i spoke to my feo before moving and did as she told me refixing my cabinet and taking care of the guns etc.....i have 4 guns, i check and clean them regular so i would realise if i left one out anywhere.......i can see how it could get left when you have loads of kit with you, ferreting or pigeon decoying etc......however i am very fastidious re cleaning and putting away. anyway i sent my shotgun certificate to the police with all 4 guns listed on it, and i had obviously informed them in writing within 7 days as per the law of each gun i had bought. and the a

Yes but in their defence, the ferret had 'sharp teeth and glaring eyes' LOL.....................i once witnessed a fire at a hospital......the firemen were outside for about half an hour, members of the public, nurses and doctors, police and local shop keepers evacuated nearly all the bed ridden patients before the fire crews were ready.......health and safety and checking equipment...... ha, that will have been where the 25 minutes of fighting with the ferret came from. 24.5 minutes to survey the area for hazards and 30 seconds to pick up the ferret. Joking aside though if th

can you imagine if one of us who have ferrets went past and helped out...............they would think we were some kind of mystic animal tamer......simply picking the ferret up and stroke it to calm it down..........

    ferret attack

reading the description of the ferrets behaviour, noting the very small marks to the childs hand.............that ferret was a playful pet and was playing with the firemen and the baby and mother.....it didn't know she was scared as i imagine its owned by someone who may scream and giggle when its running around making mock attacks at them........... or this may be the start of a spate of attacks...........
