  1. Already have an explosives licence for black Powder so that's not an issue. I see where you are coming from with the bullet speed. That's why i was wondering of anyone was doing it now. I will do some serious research into the American stuff and whatbspeeds they are pushing etc etc.
  2. Unfortunately I am a tick magnet. I have got otoms in the house, the van, the car...
  3. Hi gents. I do a bit of stalking, I currently stalk with. 2506 and. 308 I fancy a change... Not necessarily right now, maybe in the next 5 years depending on what it is goimg to cost me but I am lookimg to begin a bit of research into something I saw on here that has peaked my interest. In short I want to know if it is possible and legal to shoot deer in the UK with a bloody great big black Powder rifle with a a hexagonal barrel that is as long as I am tall and ammunition I have loaded amd bullets I have cast myself. Does anyone on here already do it?
  4. congratulations... just for some balance. Dogs my arse! get him behind a scope, bullets can outrun a lurcher any day... well maybe not a bullx seriously if it sticks there is a serious amount of skill involved in marksmanship and if he enjoys and follows it who knows? He may end up competing... he doesn't have to stick to air rifles either, he might be rolling over gert red stags by the time he's a teenager! also just imagine his face when he gets his first terrier, firstly terrier pups are f***ing good fun for a boy and secondly that pup will grow up with him.
  5. Oh man i'm jealous. f**k my job I can feel a fishing trip coming on.
  6. I have said it before and i'll say it again. I'd bloody love it if he sent them somewhere like alaska or Canada. That would be a yotally different challenge.
  7. just after release? why would you poach 6 week old birds? Cause that's not poaching....its stealing and being a prick. Hope anyone doing that crashes!!! Couldn't agree more
  8. I was just thinking of commenting on a thread about londoners but I have only been to London once in my life. (discounting two marches) went to the science museum, a pub and a curry house, got pissed, stayed at a mates flat. rode about on the tube a bit and went home the next day, spent two days picking black bogeys out of my nose afterwards. anyway I have watched a couple of episodes of Eastenders, a few of the aoorentice, some bingo adverts with Barbara Windsor on them, a football hooligan film and that new film about the Krays so I reckon by now I am pretty much an expert.
  9. Yes i watched all 7 series over the months Peter was it you that recommended them to me i cant remember i know it was someone off here.......it was a lot better than i thought, the first series was a struggle it felt like as soon as you get familiar with a character they get killed ....but yes i found it quite addictive,i think once you can get passed the stage of accepting how 30 people can get killed and plod dont even take a fingerprint or nobody reports their father/son/brother missing you can enjoy it for what it is .......i liked the later series best i thought the guy Nero was a cool c
  10. He sounds like that in every film Yeah. f**k that irritates me.
  11. We can only hope. Ruined the whole thing for me.
  12. Looks good. I made parsnip wine a few years ago. Tasted good but bugger me it was strong. Sent me El poyo loco.
  13. That comment could be perceived as mildly offensive (if I suspend my sense of humour and overlook your right to have your own opinion...... Therefore, I shall chuck all my toys out the pram, complain very loudly about 'institutional racism', mention apartheid, slavery and Stephen Lawrence at every available opportunity and lodge a formal complaint with the Commission for Racial Equality. You will also be hearing from my MP, a shyster solicitor who's spotted an easy earner, and you will be called to appear at the public enquiry that will be demanded ! So, think on ! Too right mate.
  14. WP_20160501_10_42_10_Pro.jpgthe vortex monocular cost me £45 , its small and light and easily fits in your pocket but not as good as binoculars ? Is it half as good?
  15. I can almost guarantee that I will have forgotten about it in two weeks time but if you Pm me or post on this thread it will email Me and remind me. Some time after the 15th of May.

  17. Viper rings a bell. He's on his honeymoon for a fortnight otherwise i'd ring and ask him. If you still haven't made a decision in two weeks time when he's back i'll ask him to be sure.
  18. Congratulations. Changes your life for the better in so many ways.
  19. Can I ask the reason not to get them chipped? Don't want to start any arguments juat interested in people's opinions
  20. If they weren't as good dawn and dusk as your scope is that any hardship... That's the way around you want it really. No sense being able to spot a deer in your bins and then not be abke to pick it out in the scope... And like you say if it's that dark, you ain't going to be moving much anyway...
