  1. with out a doubt flacko ranger power and torque is amazing and tow weight is on the money why would u buy a underpowered l200 which tow weght is tiny next to ranger , but for me l200 just seems like I can live with it everyday and couldn't with ranger hard to explain but that's just way of it you can't take anything away from ranger just wasn't for me !! We all like different things and if it ain't for you then so be it. I'm currently giving serious consideration to the Isuzu as a replacement for mine early part of next year.
  2. I have the 65 plate ranger limited 3.2, owned for a year now, I also trailed the l200 at time of purchase and found the ranger pissed all over it in most departments except fuel consumption As for looks, well that's in the eye of the beholder, yet I do agree they do look a little pimped up, but times change and you need to change with them or get left behind.
  3. Strange how one gun can just feel right for you, yet another feels awful, I have shot all sorts, but very few are actually keepers
  4. Hey Phil, nice buy pal, now your making me jealous, quite like the look of that, keep me posted how well or bad, it shoots, how does it feel to shoulder ?
  5. Stop, just bloody stop talking about pies, I love them and all these lovely pics and talk about pies is making me want to cook !

  7. Thanks, yes they are wormed regularly, never tried milparzon though, bedding is changed regularly as they live in the house.
  8. How much have you got to spend if you don't mind me asking Sir?8 months later I would hope he is sorted. Even my Mrs don't take that long to make her mind up.
  9. I also use front line at the mo, but in honesty I find it crap, it may well kill them in 24hrs, but my dogs are picking them up most days !so they are always bloody scratching and coming in with them.
  10. I work with councils and certain different associations sometimes and it really is a licence to print money, in no way do they try to look after the taxpayers money, I see so much wastage going on its unreal, materials and labour, over pricing, jobs created for the hell of it, big pay offs, all sorts, been going on for years and will for many more. The problem is, there will always be some official in a position who thinks things like this are a good idea, and will be public backing from select groups, so no matter how ridiculous it sounds, it will happen.
  11. I feel for you pal, I had two episodes where I was laid up bad, once for a few months, and again just recently for a week, I hate it, like you couldn't even dress myself, even worse when you have plans for the day like you did. Go see a good chiropractor ( best of luck finding a good one) and then regular exercises help, I have a list to do that loosens my spine up and I feel better for it, also as said swimming is supposed to really help.
  12. Sounds like the stuff I need to try, does it still work if the dogs are often in water ?
  13. Cracking results, and what a backdrop to be out ferreting, spot on pal, thanks for sharing.

  17. I will take your word for it jok, never tried, not much proper trout or salmon fishing around here anyway, and I don't eat them so no point pursuing them, will stick to my salties, at least I don't mind eating them.
  18. I don't have kids, but I grew up on the farm with me old man, I could obviously shoot our place, and it was the connection of who I was got me a lot of perms, but I still went out and did the asking, wasn't the old mans job to ask, it was down to me. I secured all the most obvious ones, (neighbours farms and known associates) and gained quite a few more besides. I lost two, both as they didn't like me even though they let the old man shoot. Now I am in his shoes without the kids, I give a few lads permission to shoot, but it doesn't automatically mean siblings can shoot it either with th
  19. is that mtr rate measured right threw the openings mate or measured whats laid.? What's laid, depending what it is the openings are included and count as gables. Ie, the building is measured upto wall plate including Windows and that's your price, not always the case, but that's a general rule of thumb for house bashing
  20. 18months later, nothing like striking while the iron is hot !
  21. Feck me you boys are cheap, why ain't you available when I need more brickies ! My lads are on £15 a square metre 4" jointed, and £17-50 for the 6" jointed. However.....I charge £18-£20 for the 4 inch, and £22 for the 6 inch, some places I can get away with more, some places a little less, I have been told many many times that I am either on par with other quotes, or just under ! Then you get the lying b*****ds who always try and say your over and they can get it cheaper, well were fully booked up on the bricklaying for 9 months, so I tell them to jog on, they almost always pay what I'
