  1. Yeah a few of us might head up to it
  2. He is willing to split ,that's not a problem . Scopes £40 each including mounts , compressor £380 ,hardcases £25Did you get a look at the compressor ? Yes 250 bar so will fill 232 bar cylinderShame, most people I know are 300 bar, good deal for someone for their own use at that price as most guns are only 200 bar
  3. No mate, never, I just been looking at my collection, I have maybe 20 that never come out or get used, time to sell a few, that's all
  4. To say farewell to some very good friends and sell those who live in the cabinet Spend more time enjoying what's on my doorstep in life Maybe get myself another dog.
  5. Not necessarily, could refuse to accept a charge and not have enough charge in to fire the solenoid, so factor in a new battery if he has not kept the charging up! I have not tried charging it yet, want my mate to look at it before I touch it. It does fire, I put 4 shots through it earlier, will be setting the chrono up later for one of mine so will put a few through it and see what it's doing.
  6. Im not Rapid but for this rifle im going to learn to shoot it She is a keeper now how many times have i say,d that lol atvbjimmy  How many times have we all said that ! I personally like thumbhole, not everyone's cup of tea though.
  7. Yes he turned the key off, I was the first one to turn it back on last night and it said 57% £850, that's a lot more than I expected.

  9. So, gimme a rough idea on value, I think he would like £700-£750. Is this realistic ?
  10. Ok, see that's why I ask, I don't know anything about these fancy elecwizardry rifles ! It switches on, but that's all I know.
  11. He is willing to split ,that's not a problem . Scopes £40 each including mounts , compressor £380 ,hardcases £25 Fair enough, sounds like reasonable prices for lads wanting the odd few bits then, I wish the bloke all the best, hope he manages to clear what he needs
  12. Feel sorry for the bloke, and I can imagine the situation he is facing. However, I think he will do well trying to sell as a job lot unless there is a profit to be made for someone willing to split it all up and sell individually. Having looked at it, would you say there is a fair profit to be made, from what I have seen I wouldn't think it be worth the hassle.
  13. That looks the part, very nice and slightly jealous, full marks to the pair of you for a good deal. Out of interest, what's the difference between the merlyn and the regal ? And I didn't think you was a thumb hole man Jimmy !
  14. Your the 2nd person to suggest removing the wrap ! I ain't touching it, knowing my luck it will be some dog rough stock and I will have to pay to get it wrapped again. No paperwork with it other than the instruction booklet
  15. Cheers si, I have just opened the case, it is indeed the Mct, serial number MCT 3853 which makes it a 2011 gun He did use it, but I think he went hunting about 6 times, never shot anything, he is what I call a fair weather hunter ! So I will guarantee it has never been out in the rain, or cold, or wind......get the idea yet ? It was shot a bit in his yard, no idea how much, but knowing him not a great deal as he goes through phases, then gets bored and tries something else. The wrap looks in fairly good condition, not mint, I have found a few tiny marks, but overall I would say i
  16. Sorry lads, tired. Its a daystsate airwolf, not sure if it's an Mct or mvt (not opened the case as yet). It's .177, carbon wrapped I believe, no idea of age, will check the serial numbers. It's electronic, comes with a charger and key, 1 mag, fill fitting, daystsate hard case, and instruction booklet. He tells me it works perfect with no faults, at least it did when he last shot it a year ago ! My mate is coming over tomorrow for a shoot, and been a mega daystsate fan he will have a look and give me the lowdown, we will no doubt shoot it and see what it does. Should I chrono
  17. I need to value a gun, a friend has asked me to advertise his daystsate as now he has fac it gets no use whatsoever, but I have seen such a variation in prices on these lately, what's the general opinion ? This is NOT a sales thread, but once I have a value it will be going in the classifieds as per forum rules.
  18. Tell me about it, spent all night trying to sort it, IF I can get it sorted I will post a better pic showing the markings.
  19. Lol. I like the shroud on the new one mateYeah I like the look of the silencer and shroud, the strange thing is, it don't sound any quieter from the shooting position, but in front of the gun it's so much better than standard, and that's what I need.
  20. Thanks bry, am trying to master photobucket so I don't keep bothering you ! The picture is pretty crap, the stock looks much nicer in daylight, the shape, the pistol grip feels lovely, better than the standard (if you have large hands the platform on the bottom digs in, I never even noticed it until I held this one. Not so sure about the curved/ pointy bit by the butt pad yet. What you cannot see in the pic, the stock is actually grey with black wood grain effect, I really like it. Due to the stock finish not been that great, am thinking I may use it as a practise stock, it needs san
  21. Not tried it yet mate, was dark when I got back, that's tomorrow's playtime sorted though went up at same time as yours your no fun id be be firing it out of the window with no scope on just to make sure it don't boing atb si Oh, ha ha, of course I have done that, put a mag through it to see what it sounded like, it's not as bad as mine by a long shot.
  22. Not tried it yet mate, was dark when I got back, that's tomorrow's playtime sorted though
  23. Untried as yet, the gun looks mint, the stock not as good as I had hoped.
  24. I think you would struggle with an air rifle mate, I have plenty of those, and mates with them, just doubt you would do much good, a shotty on the other hand would be just fine and dandy as plenty of open area around the sheds, I was thinking I needed a multishot 410 for the job.
