I bought two tins of those and it made for interesting testing.

Thanks viz but I want a .25, already have a .22

No Parkinson's, I am going to try a different scope tomorrow, but this is only about 8 months old air max 30, the rifle it was on it never missed a beat, not saying it may have gone wrong though.
-
Not yet, my mate is going to try it as soon as he is free, he shoots a pulsar and I rate his marksmanship, he can hit stuff, so see what he thinks as you could be right, it may not suit me and my hold may be altering and throwing things out. All the testing today was done bench rested, no free hand. Bench rested ? Off a bipod or just rested on a bean bag etc, I can shoot them off a bipod only, the gun is just to light for me , I'm not saying it's you, but it is just something else to rule out. Bench rested on a bag, I have only just started using bipods on air rifles in the last few month

Ha, I will smash it to bits on a wall first, wouldn't wish this trouble on my worst enemy.Hard to tell with the photon, it looks to be doing ok, pissing down now though. The r10 has the 870lrf on and is sweet so don't wanna take that off. The extreme spread on paper looks perfect, but so did the test sheets that came back with it, don't understand why it's not doing it now, I will try another day scope on it as it's the only other thing I can think of. Can you chrono it yourself to eliminate bullshit from them ? No, I managed to damage my skan, double loaded and one hit the sensor, must

No, it's just not grouping, I didn't change the scope settings until I had settled on the FAPs been the pellet of choice, I didn't expect a zero, but I expected the groups to be grouping according to each pellet weight. That would really whined me up as well, I can cope with the round not hitting where I'm aiming as I would always put that down to the scope, but not grouping is bad! The issue I've got is the gun is grouping really well but it's creeping high, then I refilled the air and it shot low!!!!I feel for you mate, get your money and buy a Renagade I get the groups shifting up and down

Cheers for the thoughts, general concenus is money back, and that's been in my mind since the day I bought it However, when it did group it didn't half make me smile ! So thanks Phil, I will be doing exactly what you suggested tomorrow, if no joy it will be a full refund or it will be putting a big lump on the rfd's head ! Has anyone actually dealt with ASI ? I haven't, and can't get my head round the difference between the testing they done and today's results in perfect conditions from a bench rest, with the same pellets.
-
Am trying the photon on it right now, see how it works then as that's what I wanted it for in the first place
-
That's been my gut feeling since I bought it. How can ASI send me test cards showing one hole groups and with the same pellets I am lucky to hit a target 6 inch square ? Am wondering if the scope is playing up, crosshairs moving maybe. I had maybe 5 perfect groups today, that made me smile, then they just went all over the shop.

Some of you might remember I bought a new cat, and was having issues regards accuracy and power. It was sent back to ASI, well I got it back yesterday with a chrono test after resetting the power, 24 shots with an extreme spread of 4.25 fps, using the fx 16gr pellet. It was accuracy tested using 16gr fx pellets, 21.4gr biz mags and what looks like x man14.3gr. I have 9 cards, biz mags been the worst with a 10p size group, fx been the best with what looks to be 2 pellet holes (a full mag) supposedly tested at 30 metres. So with all this info I had massively high hopes for the retur

Ha, you will never find "the one gun" if your anything like me, always searching for the holy grail, I have been through hundreds of different guns, and can honestly say only one or two were keepers. Think I am lucky with scopes, my eyes are still pretty good, and most reasonable priced scopes work well for me, am pleased you have found one you like and get on with, perhaps you should find some more to fit on the other rifles, I hate changing scopes unless totally necessary.

It's a poor show, I had heard about the flock been destroyed and testing negative afterwards. I see a game farm has been hit now as well, 1000 pheasants, and a turkey farm near Boston with 19'500 bids, it seems to be getting closer to me every time
-
Looking for the above in .25 cal, thanks for looking.
-
Thanks, have never tried them, looked at them once but the price put me off. Might have to try them.
-
Don't panic mate, I found some on the bay to get a sample, will see how they pan out before I decide if I want a bulk load.
-
Cheers Phil, I have tried every shop online and they show as out of stock, same on the bay. I was told they are NOT jsb made, or certainly not from the same mold. I have spoken to one gunshop who is a dealer for ASI, he said they need to buy 30 tins a time to get them in, I would buy that amount if I had tried and tested them and they were good in a few guns and right price. The results were good in the cat. If they are the same jsb pellet, kind of throws the story about the terminator at Pickering guns doesn't it ?
-
If your in no rush, I will have it, I have to come down near you within the next two weeks and would collect. Let me know if we have a deal.
-
Has anyone tried them, or know anything about them ? Got my wildcat back today after been sent back to ASI to see what the problem was (glad to report it did indeed have problems and has supposedly been sorted). The test results that came back look promising, pellet on pellet at 30 metres. But, they tested 3 pellet types, biz mags, one other I cannot remember, and fx 16grain pellets. The fx pellets were the best, one hole group, and I have the cards to prove It. Some say the fx are just jsb under a different name, some say they are from a different mold, does anyone know the t
