I still smoke a pipe daily.Bit of a Trade mark..If I light up ,You can usually find me because of the smell, can travel a whole wood easily. Holker Dansk,Black Bourbon is my chosen brand.easy on the tongue,cool smoke no matter, what pipe I use . Found an old Tin of Exmoor Stag Hunt,baccy ,but it was gubbed..up the Barras' well travelled ... Gone away,a good Turnout.Done him proud. Every time your out in the field..pause and think of the Sacrifice the likes of Tam,gave in their Time and Health,fighting our corner. It ain't a Bed of Roses up and down the Country Fighting the Fight ,they go to bed with that fight in their Heads,waiting on the next move . I just hope there are younger men able to articulate as good and fill their likes, Boots, I was struggling looking round the day ,who could do what Tam had.

Sadly over the last two days ,I've attended Funerals. One a Humanist service,One an R.C. service,both were a celebration of the person passing over. Both comforted the friends and Family who had attended. Both succeeded in their intentions.To provide comfort and solace for those left behind.If you have a Faith/Belief system good on you,but use it wisely and for the good,if not don't go trying to destoy some one elses 'Belief .It don't harm you ,if you dont believe in it.Does it

Once the're " STOCK BROKEN " don't let them run free with Dogs you dont Know are a !00%.. It'll Undo All your Hard work Once one starts,they''l find it hard NOT to join in....and from then on you will be wary of letting them free to roam out from you . Some Terriers I believe have just got a streak in them,they can't help themselves, as soon as a bit of freedom is given.if it moves their having it ,depends if you can put up with a dog on the leash most of it's life & is worth the inconvienance

think most Try ,wether their successful is a different matter had a few embarrassing moments around sheep .Rolling down a hill upside down at 100mph in pursuit of 3 "Sheep Broken Terriers" ,after bangin in to a one In a gorse bank,it SHOULDN'T have been in.To the amusment of a pile of standing guns at the other end..for one. Never trust the little buggers around them,rather leash up ,although the Wee Sealyham Type I,ve got Doesn't seem to bother with them...Lakies,never seen any you woudn't keep an eye on .

Sad loss to the Terrierworld,had the pleasure to have worked alongside Tam,fighting the numerous bills,and had our disagreements on the way forward,but always kept a friendly relationship ...Agreed to disagree approach..to life.. He was the first person the wife the wife phoned,when I failed to return from a visit to the Police,regarding their interest in me ! He calmed her down an gave solid support and advice . A close friend he was not, but a Help when needed. His aim ,terrierwork and Terrier men regardless who they were..were to be Protected. He Succeeded in this in a BIG WAY !! M
