    went out last nite and this morning great sport big runs on short winter wheat , up hills this week hoperfully bolting and netting , grounds getting wet on the arable now ,not much lieing out, all in woods ,great weather for roosters you could hit them wi a stick lol

    edniburgh zoo some nite life there ,suffolk has a fare sprinkling of deer reds muntie fallow odd roe , the hills near alloa have red roe odd sika on the hillsides , several places have good areas were you can take pics if you no how lol

    long netted hares years ago using 5 inch salmon netting ,easy made up all you do is split an 8 feet sheet net to 4 feet set it to ahundred yard down to sixty height 2 and a half to 3 foot u can easy get draw line cheap , and poles caut pheasants in them allsorts , thirty years ago there was a bottle kneck into a powerstation hares used to dive into station, under gate so we got nylon salmon net 5 inch , set the net, walked a mile round it left mate at net and coursed them in steady with dogs pretty productive , got some footage of netting them some were ,i wouldnt do it now unles t

    be good to see some pro net makers made a few over the years ,since i was a boy trawl nets gill nets rabbit nets etc didnt realise there was a guild for making long netts good idea , been running nets quite a bit lately in the dark for rabbs using an old lurcher been pretty handy for shitty land not suitable for lamp and dog , had good succses just need the [BANNED TEXT] weather to hit it write

    nothing cruel with netting deer they do it all over the world from simple natives usng 5 inch net 40 pound plus braking strain , or a heavy duty tangle net ten inch mesh saw them used in foreign countries , no difrence than legal deer netting ,apart from it tangles them ,met men who are tree surgoens fishermen, who cleaned a few deer problems with old salmon net and walked them in and put them some were more appropraite ,u want 8 mm top and bottom line set on the half 100yard makes fifty ,ive saw them do it with hare counts run them in and trap them and count them for health and disease ,

    people should remember a dogs a dog not just running dogs lurchers any dog ,the quicker the bill gets amended the better for everybody involved in the hunting coursing pestcontrol

    the trick is to keep an eye on them when lamping and look for signs of tiring a good dog man can notice adog tiring ,if they are back on leash and rested while leash walked , ive ran the large arable land for along times , useing jeep on foot ,always have fresh water and the odd occasion electo saw dogs taking the odd wobbly as they say ,but not much ,ive used gator ade , and home made electo , and rehydrate ,i always keep an eye on the dog when lamping and make sure there fit for a nite out only way
