  1. When I purchased my .22 HW100, I bought 2 tins of AA diablo fields in 5.51, and was quite happy with the grouping. I went to buy some more and they had none in stock so I got some H&N FTT 5.53. These were a dissappointment with grouping. My mate gave me a few Ely Wasps to try, and I could have got a better group using a blunderbus. I then sent off for AA Diablo Fields in both 5.51 and 5.52, and also some JSB Exact Diablo's in 5.52. Tightest groups were with the AA 5.52 and the JSB 5.52's. Both being slightly tighter than the AA 5.51, so it's a case of trial and error to find what is b
  2. Quite a few good points made in this thread. I was brought up to say please and thank you, open a door for an older person, someone struggling with shopping or a pram. Used to offer my seat on a bus or train whilst travelling etc. Don't see much of it at all nowadays. I find it quite refreshing if I do see a young lad or girl show a bit of respect along those lines. Being polite doesn't cost anything. A lot of people now don't even know how to queue. Yep, certainly a lot ruder and disrespectful than it used to be... unfortunately.
  3. The first rabbit I killed was a really good head shot, and it dropped like a stone.... but I felt gutted... reason being, there was 2 of them and the other one p1ssed off...
  4. Air dried ham (serrano/parma etc) will last years, outside the fridge, some of them can be up to 2 or more years old when you buy them... a 'normal' ham (boiled/baked) needs to be refrigerated or frozen. When I used to buy half a pig to process, I always used to make a ham from the back leg. Once it was cured/brined for the correct length of time, and then cooked, I would slice it and vaccuum pack it for freezing. It lasted ages. You don't need a vaccuum packer, just a food grade polythene bag with the air removed, then sealed with a twist wire.. Only me and her here now so haven't bothered w
  5. I might just p1ss off to Wales and get laid.
  6. Bah Humbug indeed.. might feel differently if my son and grandkids didn't live in Australia, but they do. We have to have her year old mother down, sitting there dribbling, belching and dropping her guts during dinner... Good mind to f*ck off down to my permission for the day... Yeah... humbug for sure..
  7. 3 excellent videos Darryl. It's refreshing that blokes like yourself take the time and effort to make these tutorials to assist others. Thanks.
  8. I think those Poles know well enough all about England, got plenty of them around here. Seemed to appear in droves when they opened a Lidl's in the high street. Give them their due though, a lot of them are not scared of a bit of graft. Had some put up a trestle structure next door to do the guttering... think they might have been scaffold Poles
  9. Thanks, not quite an 'authentic' brawn though. I put some finely chopped parsley in it. Also done one with grated lemon zest.. both very good.
  10. Made it quite a few times when I was into buying half a pig on a regular basis a few years back. Seemed a shame to waste anything, so always used as much as I could. Sometimes I would make bacon bath chaps from the cheeks and jowl, and then hot smoke it.. absolutely delicious in a sarnie.
  11. Nah... she's OK with it.. anyways, I allowed her to have my son's room when he emigrated 9 years ago, and I kept the big bed
  12. When I bought my bits about 18 months ago, HW100KS, air bottle, pellets, gunslip, sling etc etc.. I got it out the box and she says to me "I bet that lot cost a couple of hundred quid". I could have agreed, but went for the shock factor and showed her the receipt.. I think she said "clucking bell" or somesuch. Told her at least I got £20 change from my grand
  13. All well and good taking the p1ss out of us Londoners, but it's no joke having to do the Lambeth Walk every time I nip round the corner for a packet of ciggies... My f*cking hips and ankles are killing me...
  14. Reckon you'd be alright Malt, with those dulcet Welsh tones they'd think you were an eastern european
  15. Got to agree Over the years I've tried quite a few bags, and can highly recommend the JRC 5 season with it's fleece lining.
  16. Thanks, have saved the info, hopefully won't need it
  17. You are right to be wary Frann... I have been using Isohunt for a couple of years, and have had quite a few attacks on my computer in that time when going on to the site. Fortunately, my Norton picked them up . However, Isohunt was shut down recently and I looked for another torrent site. I decided to go with Extratorrent. Used it a couple of times and got a few attacks, halted by Norton, then when I booted my PC on friday, after the normal screen had been on for a second or so a 'police warning' took over my computer. It hijacks your webcam and puts a picture of you up with your location, IS
  18. Got to respect a lad who shows respect...
  19. Quite obviously fake, you can clearly see the smaller bear is wearing a man costume..
  20. Had one lot knock, curtains drawn etc.. so they decided to bang on the windows little cnuts. Few years ago I was away night fishing and wife said some yob and his mate knocked, she didn't answer so he started kicking fcuk out of the front door... They should ban it.. we didn't have it when I was a lad, it's something this country adopted from america. If the kids want sweets, the parents should buy them for them and keep them in..
  21. John I purchased a NE500 in March. At the time it was a similar price to the NS50, but with the performance, distance wise, to the NS200. I also pondered the option of DIY, but after reading quite a few posts on different forums felt I couldn't be waiting around for items from the far east, and if there were any problems with an item, getting it sorted would extend the waiting. Also, the 1 year warranty on the NE500 appealed. I have no issues on the quality of the unit, and it allows me to spot bunnys well outside my air rifle range. I have spotted bunnys clearly at 150 yards with it. It did
