Irish Travellers are recognised as a distinct ethnic group regardless of where they happen to live... Never mind all that ethnic bollox...... I'm being pedantic ! How can you be a traveller if you live in the same place ? Ive gone past a site for 10 years that I can remember.....same people, living in the same caravans/semi permanent chalets. In what way are they "travellers" ? They don't travel anywhere - apart from 2 weeks in Torremolinos every August.....

    And mine ! I've got my head buried in all things hunting, while she oohs and aahs over some prat baking a cake, or a bunch of tiresome Londoners shouting at each other...... The trick is to learn to nod and say "yeah" in all the right places, while paying no attention whatsoever - if you can fake sincerity, you've got it made !

    Incredible work, there ! I'm what's known as a Midlands engineer - "We're gonna need a bigger hammer !", so I'm a bit in awe of anyone with technical expertise, and I reckon you're one of the best, Jimmy !

    I'm the same as you Phil - some of those technical thingamajigs do work well for people but, I just don't get it I've always set targets out a various distances and shot a load of pellets at them I draw a picture of my reticle on a separate bit of paper and, mark down where the pellet impacts at each distance. ....... it works for me Also, I find that doing it this way helps to get an eye for the ranges.     I've got Kelly Yvonne (middle name after my ex wife's mum, who died when she was a little girl), and Joseph David (David is my middle name, after my late dad). I remember seeing some snotnosed kid misbehaving in Tesco. The chavvy mum eventually lost her temper and shouted "If you don't f***ing behave, I'll kill you, Crystal Summer !" What ARE they thinking of ?

    Best idea ? Leave them alone. They're harmless and good controllers of real insect pests !

    You'll need to get yourself some public liability insurance ! It sometimes helps persuade landowners - and you'll meet plenty of them, as you travel endless miles to knock on doors, and get turned down over and over again ! Persistence, persistence, persistence !
