    I think I'm transdespot - I should have been Pol Pot. Thanks for the idea Walshie - I'm straight on the phone to Loose Women ( that sounds wrong !). 15 minutes of fame, here I come........? Trans-species - I want to be a Yak...... Trans-income. I should have been a millionaire (plenty would have that one !)..... Transauthoritarian. I shouldn't have to do as I'm told..... Noe of them any more ridiculous than "transabled". Transabled, FFS !

    Agree with Kay - all this "born in the wrong body" bollox. They end up looking exactly what they are - a bloke in a dress ! "Transabled" seems to be the latest in the "wrong body" band wagon. Who can come up with the latest ridiculous idea to express their individuality and discuss their 'life of torment' in a slot on This Morning. Or, put a better way, what stupid idea can I dream up to draw attention to myself for a while ? How do they know they were "born in the wrong body" ? I was born in the right body, but I couldn't describe the feeling to you ! So how does a lad of 3 know this

    I think your description of it is better than mine, but this is the stuff I used.... http://www.diy.com/departments/climaflex-pipe-insulation-l1m-dia22mm/26874_BQ.prd I'm sure I only paid or 90p for a length. I cut off a few inches and sat it on top of the stock (its already slit down its length). Few bits of duct tape and a cheap roll of camp tape off FleaBay. Ta dah ! Its been on about a year, and I've only ever had to reposition the camp tape.

    Whatever his politics, Charles Kennedy always struck me as a decent and principled man - characteristics sadly lacking in most politicians these days ! 55 is no age for any man to die, less so one with a young child.

    I used a solution similar to Cedric. A short length of foam pipe lagging, held in place with a few bits of duct tape, all covered with a roll of camo gun wrap tape. Cost about 3 quid and works a treat....

    My daughter did the same in having my grandkids christend as it was one of the conditions that helped in getting them in the local catholic school. My first wife had a brother who lived with his girlfriend. When they had their lad, they didn't want to get married, but wanted him to go to the good Catholic school nearby. They start attending services etc but realised they would come unstuck by not being married. So she changed her surname by deed poll to match his !

    Me and the wife did exactly that, and I have to say we had one of the most enjoyable afternoons out we've had in a very long time !

    Don't be tempted to bandage it up - that will restrict your breathing and make you more susceptible to chest infections ! Very important to remember to try to breathe normally, for the same reason.

    I drive from here to get the dog food from Bulmers once a month or so. It's an excuse to visit "me owd mam" and have a mooch round Melton with the wife, walk the dogs round Egerton Park- she insists on getting a pork pie from Dickinsons for her mum - makes a nice day out ! Even love the drive back (Great Dalby, Twyford, Tilton).....fabulous countryside !

    Welcome mate, and a bit of friendly advice....... The lads here who have permissions have worked hard to get them. If they're going to share them with a stranger, you'll need to give them a very good reason. As in real life, making friends on here takes time and effort. Good luck and hope to see you around.
