  1. BBC reports that she has been found "safe and we'll", despite being missing and alone....for a whole day !!
  2. So, I discovered that the spring had broken in my old Stoeger X20S.... Instead of a factory replacement (about 8 quid !), I pushed the boat out and got a Titan, which was duly fitted for me by a friend who knows about these things - I'm not "technically gifted", you see ! Any how, it now makes the most horrific " bong" when it's fired, and recoils much more than it used to. Once I've got a good few pellets through, and necessary adjustments made, can I expect it to quieten down significantly ? Frankly, it's embarrassing to fire at the moment... It was an accurate, powerful gun, so
  3. Dissolve tablets in water and the solution is commonly known as......bleach.
  4. Chose this link at random....also reported by BBC, European broadcasters and nearly every daily newspaper. http://www.infowars.com/former-mi6-head-europe-faces-populist-uprising-over-migrant-crisis/
  5. I know the story is from late last year, but Corbyn could help Labour voters by making his bloody mind up........! http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3230499/I-voted-Britain-LEAVE-Europe-Corbyn-admits.html

No. It's some sort of mutation where its eyes grew down inside its mouth instead of up on its head. http://www.sciencealert.com/this-frog-was-born-with-eyes-in-the-roof-of-its-mouth That's regular thing in Norfolk.......apparently. Webbed toes? Just between you and me, I was going to say they're like that in Wales, but you know what that lot are like........

  8. More determined to change as many votes as possible.....sick and tired of hearing spineless, gutless politicians running my country down ! "Britain can never make it alone" etc.....good job that wasn't the thinking in 1939 ! OUT, STAY OUT, NEVER GO BACK !!
  9. The ad for last year's Games has stuck with me ever since...... "I've been ambushed, I've been shot at, I've been blown up. But NEVER defeated."

  11. My doctor said to me "I need samples of your urine, faeces and semen." I said "I'm in a hurry, Doc. Can I just leave my boxer shorts ?" (I'll get my coat)
  12. Maybe he stinks of pi55 because he pi55es himself.......?
  13. Cameron hails the Army's newest vehicle as a boost to British manufacturing........ really, David ? http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/british-armys-new-fighting-vehicles-7928358
  14. "Give the people contests they win by remembering the words to popular songs. Don't give them slippery things like philosophy or sociology to tie things up with. That way lies melancholy....." from "Fahrenheit 451" by Ray Bradbury. (Published in 1953 !!)
  15. Never mind "1984", readers among us might like a look at "Brave New World" by Aldous Huxley......
  16. "No hands" never took them out of his pockets. "Sparrow" was always to be found perched somewhere (sitting down instead of working), and I knew a lad who had a testicle removed, which meant him forever being known as "Womble".........

It's a load of old "darlings, luvvies, sweeties"........... ...............so I watched something else !
  18. It was one of the first videos we ever rented from the corner shop, when I was a lad ! (I think I've still got the PS2 game somewhere........) When you look back at it now, the level of repressed homosexuality is staggering !
  19. My dad got sacked from his job on the roads, for stealing. I had no idea until I came home one day and all the signs were there.......
  20. Ours went up too, but I think that's due to a reduction in central support grant, or some such nonsense. (Or was it to fund social care....?) Eithermway, our council went from "no overall control" to a slim Labour majority - hasn't made the tiniest difference, that I can see !
  21. I'm kind of with you on this BH - at least in the current climate. Council's and PCCs are operating under policies dictated by central government, and there is no serious opposition there ! My council had this years budget cut by £22 million, and I can't see how a different ruling party would make any difference at all to that ! Am I alone in not even knowing who my PCC is ?
  22. The link says "Thank you for taking our survey. Your response has been recorded"....?????
  23. I forgot to add if you're voting UKIP feel free to forget to vote Seriously though, whoever you plan on voting for just get out and exercise your right. Democracy includes the right not to vote, if that's your choice. You're getting quite good at pointing out the obvious Just pointing out that non-voters are also exercising their right.....call me pedantic ! Probably fair when it's said "if you don't vote, don't complain", though ?
  24. It's being called "Super Thursday"........... .........which is a bit of a stretch, n'est pas ?
