Ok here goes.... 8'x8'x6' = approx 17sq of blockwork 170 blocks @ .70p = £119 Cement £20 Sand £35 Ply £60 Membrane £10 Box profile roofing £30 Bolts, nails, screws, wall plate etc... £15 Not allowing for a door! (so you will reduce the block requirement by a few as well) Total = £289 or there abouts, if you want to do it cheaper, drop the ply but use 1200 gauge dpm nailed onto the wall plate. And make sure the roof has a good over hang.

I have had to rehome a working cocker about 5 years ago, as I just could not handle her, she wanted to work all day every day, and I did not have the time to do it. So she went to a farm, to work! I guess I have grown up a bit now, and never take on something that I cannot keep until the rest of his/her days. I have 3 lurchers, and will never rehome them.

Drontal is also good, as is Milbemax (sp) - I never get wormers off the shelf, always go and get them from the vets. A friend of mine was using that Bob Martin stuff and her dog nearly died with a worm belly. For the sake of a couple of quid, you will save a huge amount on vets bills!

I find this 2.5% VAT peace offering a joke! I do not really buy much stuff that would make a difference, so how is that going to help me? I just will have suffer the increased tax and national insurance for years to come!! I am fed up with this country, think it may be time to up sticks!

I would get them to the vets asap for blood tests, then at least you will know what you are dealing with. If you leave to long it may be too late!

Put her on a long lead, throw the ball (not too far) and let her pick it up and then call her and gently encourage her to come back with little tiny tugs to the lead as soon as she starts to come to you release the pressure on the lead and make a huge fuss when she does, she will soon get the hang of it.
