    Its an excellent gun to start a custom job on, but you need to give it a good foundation in a quailty stock, bedded and then you'll have fun, my m595 weights in at about 13lbs, and i carry it stalking only i use the bi athlete style gun sling to transfer the weight between the two shoulders, you'll be glad you done it if you do alot of shooting, and even more so if you reload... Snap.

    both have an excellent track record, and have a vast array of bullets in alot of styles, But if its for game then the .308 would be my choice, better energy on impact and at a greater range than the 7mm-08 however it all depends on the bullets you choose, For a long range target weapon then maybe the 7-08 might get my vote, but As you said game, then the .308 would also have been my choice. Snap.

    Good quality single piece, coated, made by Dewey - will last you a lifetime. You also need small patches specifically for the .17 and a cleaning jag (pointy bit). And most importantly a bore guide!!!! specific to your make of gun. If you are looking at the Bisley 3 piece kit it is horrible and I would not let it anywhere near my gun. You get what you pay for - quality does not come cheap but it lasts and is a pleasure to use and will not mess up your gun. great bit of advice, dewey make the best quality rods i have ever seen,

    Well sick of Adele, it's a good job not all fat birds that get dumped make an album or the charts would be overrun with them! i believe the girls got talent, songs from the heart tend to be the most powerful and personal, and strike a cord with the public, down to earth, Well done to her i say, perhaps something from back in the day...........?
