Optional barrel changes are commonly just simply a Marketing extension of the manufacturing process these days. It may well work for some people BUT 1 rifle one setup is the quick simple and surefire way for most. there must be a saving there as you only buy one good scope ? the only loss you will have by having an interchangable barrel is accuracy, plus the rezero everytime you change is a PITH (pain in the hole) Buy once buy quality, and if you need 2 calibres then buy two....!!! this is just my humble opinion of course. Snap.

Any scope in that price range should be good, some will outdo other on certain things like build quality, i have a leupold mark4 lrt and cannot fault it build wise or optically, nightforce built lke a tank, but the larger mags are very poor in low light, and yes we done a test with it on a friends gun, at the same time, and both S&B and leupold beat it in that certain light level, you will not be disapointed if you go to the range and look through some before you buy, shot friends guns find out for yourself, If i was to spend money again i'd go for a zesis conquest,

Excellent advice frm above there, i always choose an accurate load over a fast load, but i do know some guys who spend copious ammounts of time trying to get the fast accurate load, although sometimes it does happen with luck, Guys tend to brag about speed, ie my rounds doing 4000...fps !!!! Some of these guys i've met and they couldn't hit a barn door, its like they have small cock syndrome or something....!!!!! take the time to develop the load, And once happy PRACTICE, thats the single most important thing that will tighten any group.. viable cause to have if your going fishing, hunting, etc, as long as its not 12" long like a samuri sword....lol, whereas if you were walking through a town it would be a different story, So no need to panic next time as if they see you dropping it, they may think something was amiss and pester you for nothing... happy hunting.
