  1. Save a bit more mate and go for quality second hand scope........... the scope is the most important part of any gun and if you can't see the target you ain't gonna hit it Buy once cry once..... Snap.
  2. Although your jnr. i see your 93..... i hope your dad splashes out on something nice for your birthday........ Snap.
  3. Help! Am I missing something here, I don't like things that don't add up. Adding all the test velocities, I get 5846, so an average of 584.6. The evaluation sheet, shows a max velocity of 804, when the graph clearly shows all shots are 700-ish. To my mind, the evaluation sheet, and the test sheet are from two different tests? Can someone explain please? Add them again mate you made a mistake...... 6486.0 total.... divide by 10 = 648.6 av. vel Er yeah, done that snap. Only got 5200 this time, think the solar power is going on my calculator! Changed calculators and got the total

  5. fuel pump is nearly always a cert to go on the td5 around the 100,000 mile mark to 120,000 and you could replace it yourself all you need to do is cut the carpet above the fuel tank there is a hatch which screws of, 20 mins to change
  6. right if you ever need to calculate your foot pounds and you have a chrono here's how it work take your pellet weight example taken from above post... 15.73 grains multiply by av. velocity squared... av. vel. = 648.6 divided by 450240 a constant number never changes..... so 15.73 x 648.6 x 648.6 450240 ...................................... = 14.69 ft/lbs
  7. disregarding the errors in both max and min velocity the total velocity still adds up right, and the average velocity is right get me the weight in grains of the pellet used and i'll calculate your ft/lbs from the data provided....
  8. that and the low velocity of 786.5 ...........................?
  9. Is the pellet weight right on the print out, 15. something......?
  10. the total average velocity is right even though your highest velocity was shot number 1) with 720/ fps and your lowest was 103.2 fps on shot no. 9 So the high and low velocities are wrong but your av velocity is right.....? something is a miss....? the figures quoted are wrong..... for high and low velocities. i'd ask for a retest.......
  11. yes i definately think it is an egg..... robin....?
  12. i love it but my hay fever doesn't

  14. Well after a few people pm'd me about the song i posted a while back i thought i'd give you another listen to her, i hope you enjoy it.........
  15. lands is a term used for the start of rifling at the chamber end of your gun... some bullets like a jump a couple of thou, off the lands and some bullets like to be touching the lands, finding the sweet spot for a particular bullet is the key to making a good shooting round into a great one.... And as for your question about differing loads for different powders within one maker, it's down to density of the powder, burn rate, etc that determines the weight used...
  16. Martin i'm seriously over the moon for you mate, as we all know our driving means our independance and freedom to go where and when we want, enjoy it.... Snap.

  21. The best advice i can give mate is to go into a few well known quality dealers and haggle for what you want, When your buying everything under the one roof you should get discount, be aware of the prices of the items you are looking for before you start to bargain, that way you will know if your getting a good deal.... remember buy once cry once.............. quality will last and have good resale value....
