    Never had any experience with an American akita but have with Japanese akitas. They were very protective. Both were people aggressive and I didn't trust them at all. Probably would make good a companion if trained right. They are dogs for experienced handlers in my opinion

    Shame it was very good thread, thier was nothing illegal on it so why do people feel the need to moan? It was a good honest thread about working foxes nothing else nothing more. Keep em coming trunk it was the best hunting read on here.

    They fine looking animals they look very useful and in good shape credit to youThey are worked very hard day and night by me or my son, but very well maintained and look after feed right and worked right That's how it should be ?. Always a help when someone else can work them aswell keeps them in peak condition.
