  1. A bloke near where is used to live had a scruffy looking bedlington whippet or something like about 18tts at a guess. She used to go up trees for squirrels as high as she could, she was just a pet dog but she was always catching the odd rabbit or squirrel.
  2. Was out the other night on big land and the led didn't shine as far as the 170. No where near. But I do like the led for the smaller fields and local rabbit spots.

  10. Because I love it there is no finer feeling than seeing a lurcher in full flight after a fully fit quarry, it's not about the catch but the journey upto the catch
  11. Beddy x or full whippet imo. Both are excellent little dogs that will catch plenty of rabbits. The only problem with starting with something small is like learning to drive once your used to it you want something bigger. I think every pack should have a little whiz banger they are good fun

  18. Com'n then lads / lasses what's the best lurcher you've seen run and why? It seems some people love collie x's other bull x's some love both. ( seems when ever their is a thread about one or another it turns into a dick measuring contest or slangin match ) The best lurcher I have seen run was a collie deerhound greyhound, he will take what ever is in front of him a Jack of all trades a master at none. A lurcher I would love in my kennel. My own lurcher a Saluki whippet bull greyhound he also keeps me happy will tackle anything in front of him on the lamp, will mark warrens etc.
  19. Non just loads of salt and vinegar ?
  20. No3. No point lying what ya dog can do as it will only show you up on a night out. If I got a dog that was really crap it would be going but the one I have keeps me happy. Does everything I ask
