  1. I saw it, it is very good. I remember the very first time I went hunting - scared me stupid - couldn't wait for the following week
  2. I would try some and see - a couple of spoonfuls of cooked veg in the dinner and see how they like it. Don't get too bogged down in quantity - if you are feeding some dry food as well, they will be getting vitamins/minerals etc from there too - anything else you add is going to be a bonus.
  3. I'm very lucky - I do the job I love, and they pay me for it !
  4. Germoline My Mum's hairspray The soap that had the magnet thing on the top, so it stuck to a soap holder - can't remember the name though. Grandad's home brew kits !
  5. Greens and carrots mainly, and the odd bit of cooked potato and pasta if it is going spare. I don't give them onions (raw or cooked) but they happily tuck into anything else that is going. The choose to eat raw carrots as chew snacks, but the greens are cooked - either left over from my dinner, or cooked up with any big bones that are too big to either feed raw or for my mincer to cope with. I don't have a set amount that I feed - just a good variety.
  6. I dunno - at the time there were only 3 or 4 channels, and now Coronation Street is looking decidedly dodgy. To be fair, it is the most interest I have ever shown for Corrie - I hate soaps ! What about that business with Len Fairclough ? (Lara's too young to remember!) Never watched any soaps - so I have no idea who Len is ! I have just Corrie mentioned on the news for the 2 current ones ! Len was Rita from the Kabin's first husband - before she married the bloke who died of cancer and the one who got run over by a Blackpool tram. (Not that I ever watch it, you understand.)
  7. Hahaha ! Nope, not feeling left out, or shy - just pmsl

  9. Skidboot - a great dog !
  10. well you shouldn't drink and go out in the town then, should you. *tutting and shaking head - mods should know better* mind, thinking about it, me and walshie were once accosted by 3 men in a wood one afternoon ok, who pretended to be Goldilocks ? they were full of something but it wasn`t porridge Well thats an improvement on what my mind came up with - beds, soft, hard etc etc. Glad you both had a good time

  15. I did a bit of fell running , Snowdon was a cat A fell race back when I ran, before the paths were improved. A pic of me coming down called "down hill runner " won a competition, it was me leaping down a big step, just me with a sky background. The Snowdon race is a 10mile round trip, my best time was 58mins to the top and 20 coming down, I always thought 20mins for 5 miles wasn't too bad! That's not too shabby ! Even with the improved path I don't beat that !
  16. Terrible news - and the survivors came in yesterday to QEH Birmingham. Fingers crossed for them, and all thoughts to the families of those who didn't make it.
  17. Very true - having the courage to speak out is one thing, having it brushed under the carpet is another - and probably why a lot of people kept quiet. Thank goodness things seem to be changing for the better.
  18. They used to hold " Ride and Tie" races around Rutland Water - a few years ago now. 2 runners, 1 horse. Runner 1 would set out, runner 2 would ride the horse to check point 1, overtaking the runner, tie the horse, run to check point 2, where runner 1 would have already collected the horse, overtaken them and left horse at next check point etc. Thats how I got started running, and then doing running to keep me fit for horse endurance rides, where the more you ran alongside the horse, the better the time would be. Then the horse got too old, so I had to run by myself !
  19. They do your head in don't they - what an annoying and unnecessary thing for him to do. Some people have nothing better to do than cause hassle for people. Good on you for keeping your temper - I'm not sure many would have - me included.
  20. At least he is alive to know the shame he has brought on himself and his family. I know he is old, and he got away with it for far too many years - but he knows. I wish Jimmy Saville had been brought to justice before he died.
  21. 80's god willing!!!! You've made me feel really old change that at once to 110's/120's/130's Is that better ?!
  22. Perfectly happy thank you. Seen all sorts, good and bad - enough to form my own opinions of what I personally find acceptable. I am more realistic now, and my dogs have to fit around a full time job, but still find it very rewarding. If I am still out mooching with dogs when I am in my 40's/50's/60's ( god willing ) I will be a happy girl.
