    I've never heard of an animal getting lead poisoning from being shot, only by taking in lead by mouth - lead shot by birds, licking lead based paint for calves, lambs etc. The uptake of lead from a lead shot in a muscle is not going to get into the system enough to cause symptoms - especially one that size.

    it's true. The quicker the jab after the mistake mating, the more effective - same day about 95%, dropping to about % as said, if you let it go a week or so. Much more than that, and only 1 of the licensed drugs can be used, and the bitch will have an abortion, rather than just stopping the pregnancy before it gets established.

    From about 4 weeks - some do it earlier ( maybe 3 weeks ) but the risk of false negative ( ie you don't see anything, so you assume not pregnant, when you just missed seeing the sacs ) is quite high. I usually listen at 5 weeks for heartbeats.

    They do that in America - for a tv show - lure paedo's to a young girls ( usually, boys as well though ) house, then film them, and have the authorities standing by ready to arrest them. I personally don't have a problem with it, as long as the action taken is by the police, not vigilantes.
