I watched a few episodes of the peaky blinder thing on loads of recommendations and got to Be honest I thought it was pretentious ,and tried far too hard to be like an American gangster movie ,the characters are all laughable cartoon stereotypes ,I'm just waiting for one of those Tommy gun wielding ( Tommy guns ffs )daft hat wearing brummy gangsters to shout " yow doirty rot "

It's a shame that only the dopes seem willing to go in front of the camera ,I used to go every year and there are some real interesting ,fascinating characters there ,decent people who cringe at a lot of what goes on around them .

In the lower leagues ,I will stick my neck out and predict that if they stay injury free , don't get silly suspensions ,stick with their manager ,maybe sign a striker before the deadline ,get the rub of the green ,and the crowd don't get on their back too much ..safc may well win a match this season .

Question to an ex fighter ...I have always worked on the assumption that everyone in elite level sport is "at it " to some degree ,I don't really concern myself too much with the rights wrongs morals of it all .....but do you think boxing should be the exception ,the sport were there is no grey area ,where PEDS are wrong full stop ?the sport where the outrage at cheating is justified ?
