You say its a pup mate , how old is it ? to be honest that's a long time to be locked up , especially for a pup , boredom and lack of stimulation /company wont help your dogs mental development , maybe the barking is genuinely annoying or distressing the neighbours , if I were you , I would be looking for solutions to the problem instead of just getting angry , more exercise / socialising , a different kennel set up that more interesting for the dog , a word with the neighbours to let them know your looking for solutions and asking for their forebearance in the meantime .
