I have read ex professional footballers saying , "youv got to want to play for your manager " as though disliking or disagreeing with the manager excuses poor , half hearted performances .no mention of the long suffering supporters who deserve ( and pay for ) 199% commitment or personal /professional pride . Dicanios only fault is not giving in or compromising his beliefs to cater for the sensitive souls that make up most of todays players .

Sometimes what you automatically dismiss as bullshit is the truth though , I few years ago my daughter was at Uni and used to pop into a bar in town with a couple of other students , she used to tell me that the doorman was a nice polite fella and he told her he had fought Ali !!! I told her it was complete bullshite and if I saw the fella I would tell him . I popped in one night to meet her and maybe show the doorman up .Ernie Shavers WAS the doorman , so I let him off .

I think its all about your mind set ,some people make the best of what they are given and their circumstances and consider themselves lucky , other people could win the lottery and think they were unlucky because it wasn't a rollover,

I think hes the type of manager who will need to go down a division , build for promotion with players he can bring on , buy in his type of player and get the whole club invested in his philosophy .It will take time for a manager like him to build for success with everyone on the same wave length . Throwing him in with a bunch of journeymen at a club doomed for relegation is always going to be a disaster .
