  1. Twas a tad damp! Never seen rain at a show like it. Put a hell of a lot off i'll bet, though, dispite this there where some crackin dogs there. I was there giving the lads from the Merseyside Club a lift, jumping on the mic to do a bit of ring announcing (everyone else seemed a bit shy ). Strongstuff's gear went well , Aaron had brought his usual bag (or Disco) full of goodies and was prepairing for a very wet day!! After we had a discussion on the merits of investing in a tent or awning for him to sell his wares, the club moved him into there show tent which certainly perked him u
  2. Cheers H&J thats the fecker....me bro sent it through, so i thought i'd put it up.........completely forgetting i'm a pc retard!!! Reminded me of when I was a kid on a school trip to Chester Zoo (Which initself was like the tv play 'Our Day Out', anyone remember that?)..... Anyway's, we went when there was real heavy snow on the ground......BIG mistake lettin 60 school kids from Anfield Comp loose !!! Every poor fecker (mostley critters) got a 'broadside' of snow balls (Gophers especially..........great fun!), then yours truley and his mates wander's over to the Tigers enclosure.
  3. Sorry Mods.....can't seem to put the Youtube item up........sack it!
  4. Hey thats a bit harsh.. I was considered to have quite an errection, people talked about that fence for years, buses and taxis changed their routes to see that masterpiece Pleased someone noticed me poaching wagon in the back ground Not in them jeans Dox ....!!!!!

  7. Orc's....right out of Lord of the feckin Rings!!
  8. Just my opinion but i've never understood the use of short shovels, for me, your doin the same job as with a ordinary size shovel but with the shorter one, only making it a damn site more uncomfortable and difficult on poor ground. Soil is soil wherever you my find it! When all said and done it's the job your doing (digging) irrespective of the size of the animal your digging to. Now a smaller head on a shovel does IMO make a difference with ferrets, you are not looking to make as bigger impact on the ground as with a terrier. I would always go for a 'solid' heavy cast type.......and yes, Bul
  9. There is a guy in the North West, Kenny, he's just recently been in CW an EDRD when Clive Reese done some articles on him. Ken's good, go so far as to say he's a bit special..... PM me for details. cheers
  10. hares are mostly nocternal feeders ..fact round me where i hunt and i have caught the odd hare the hares stay in the rougher fields small woods and go out into the open fields a night to feed where there is no cover ,,,YES you do get them out in the open but when you go out with the lamp they are all over the open feilds where the grass is shorter ....i go up the dales quite a bit and you see the odd daytime hare ...you go at night and you see plenty ...WHY because they are night feeders and thats when they come out into the open ... iam talking the smaller feilds ..i can go round the a1
  11. Deffo worth the drive!!
  12. Great pics D1, yours has some 'heed' on him, if he works as well as he looks, your in for some season! You say Stevolads bitch is out of Brightmoor stuff.....hows your bred?
  13. Paul, at her age don't worry..... The first bull x I owned did exactley the same thing with his first catch, end of night, I was gutted!! Next night out, I stopped him eating it but retrieve...not a chance! All changed with age, thank god. Ended up a very good catch and retrieve dog. Seen it a few times since with other young 'un's i've owned. Your running a very young pup with a very young pup mentality, no harm in that but even though the catches seem like she's grown up, her all round mentality just ain't. I'd keep everything to a minimum, basic training still..... as Molly says in a few
  14. This fecking sickens me, nothing worse in the dog game.......best of luck in your serch

  18. I'm quite sure we all admire a looker, especially if it's a grafter ta boot BUT If I wanted a 'film star' i'd av bought a Rough Collie......it's blood, snot, sweat an tears for me all the way!!
  19. Thats the story Frank......bout 20 years ago, used to see a bloke walking a beautiful fawn dog on my way to work, early shift, frequently he'd be carryin a hare or two, stopped him for a chat (well ya just gotta ain't ya!). The dog was off Mick Douglas an he confirmed the way he lived. As far as 'Norfolk' lurcher goes, yep, his dog was from Norfolk but it's a 'type', referring to looks rather than a 'breed', though by the game this bloke caught, seemed like a very handy type, i'm sure.
  20. All my bull crosses are tumblers too!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  21. A guy named Jeff Burrell used to advertise these,as been in the family for generations etc,a fellow I know bought oneit was less than satisfactory, and looked like a Husky cross, curiously I was told Burrells mate breeds Huskies, thats all I have to say on this subject. Yep Inan, thats what I heard, seen these advertised in the Countrymans a number of years back an wondered what they were, 'Tumbler'....like a lurcher......Interestin?? But unlike...'Norfolk' type which still has the word 'lurcher' stuck with it these things were just 'Tumblers' ......???? Did a bit of fishin, spoke to t
