  1. I'm quite sure we all admire a looker, especially if it's a grafter ta boot BUT If I wanted a 'film star' i'd av bought a Rough Collie......it's blood, snot, sweat an tears for me all the way!!
  2. Thats the story Frank......bout 20 years ago, used to see a bloke walking a beautiful fawn dog on my way to work, early shift, frequently he'd be carryin a hare or two, stopped him for a chat (well ya just gotta ain't ya!). The dog was off Mick Douglas an he confirmed the way he lived. As far as 'Norfolk' lurcher goes, yep, his dog was from Norfolk but it's a 'type', referring to looks rather than a 'breed', though by the game this bloke caught, seemed like a very handy type, i'm sure.

Grew into a huge thing, very strong. Tame as feck, when handled, miss one day an lord help ya!! Usless as a worker, too fast, killed all an would go wild as feck.....a liability!! When put to bitche

  8. Many years ago a mate had two albino badgers stuffed that he dug, sold them after the ban on digging badgers for a good sum. Again, many years ago (bout 22), whilst lamping foxs on the Wirral, we called in a white (albino?) fox. Couldn't belive our eyes but this critter was definatley a fox and white as snow. Got a run on it too but we had seen its eyes whilst we were moving to a better position, dropped in a ditch and called, it came in but it was a real small field so the slip was poor (and so were the dogs! ). Gotta admit, it was some sight to behold as youngsters, the excitement of re
