  3. Thats a myth... Thats a myth... send me over £50 quid of what your smoking Read up on the history mate, start with Walsh's stuff, you'll find they are few and far between. They were around, no doubt, but different areas and different ground produced differing crosses, just as it does today. As much as we have been sold the fable, mostly by Plummer to sell his mates dogs, even he, when obtaining his first dogs, dogs with a very long linage, were of different type to what you would call a collie cross. Not doubting that blood wasn't present, it may well have been, but h
  4. Yep Paddy, Millets dead right here, ya gotta love a natural jumper Saves on that advice I was gonna give you on the 'start small and...' blah blah One thing though mate, though she's a natural, she's still a pup, so don't over match her, you can easy knock her back or do some damage landing from hight on those growing puppy legs.
  5. Don't mind a splodge of 'bear goo', done in a pan, touch of salt and sugar, keeps me regular....!
  6. Anything from that shithole turns my stomach, ever squoze one of them sausage mcmuffins and seen the filth that runs out. It makes a good fry up look like the best diet food ever..!
  7. Never classed barb wire as an 'enemy' more of a 'occupational hazard', something to be avoided wherever possible, just a fact of life.... Those that revel in its over use and the damage it can do, now those I class as the enemy.
  8. Was that supposed to ryme mate Yep Paddy, SS is dead right..!
  9. Just shop around Paddy, i've used both Tesco and Asda pet insurance (think i'm with Asda at the mo). Look to any insurance, check out the deal an costs and go for it. There will be a few threds on it here if ya do a search.
  10. Seen some very well grafted dogs at a show this year, a real pleasure to see, all of 'em. Their owner was female, she works 'em and works 'em hard. Seeing them dogs and their owner made me smile, as I looked around the ring at the puffed up, macho tossers standing there with dogs that ain't seen more than a kennel in there fecking lives, reaching down to position legs before the judge...! :whistling: I really don't give a feck what sex is on the other end of a lead as long as that dog see's work..!!
  11. Belated congrats on hitting your 18th Paddy lad. Got your text, i'll be deffo heading up there next week.
  12. CG, without looking on the website, i've no idea of start times but it'll be good to see you there, as it will to see all who added to this thred. Wippydoo, if it was a poor deal last year, or any other, that was because, as Christian said, there were no Terrier or Lurcher showing. I've never been to this one before myself, only because I've seen just about every attraction of a country fair in the 30 years i've been going to 'em and without a T+L show it ain't worth my while, even if it just 15mins away! This year there is a show, we (The MWTLC) were asked to do it as we have ran the Peover
