Save some Welsh cakes for me! She is only making one batch FFS ....... I made a tin full yesterday, this is all thats left. welshcakes 001.JPG Barsterwards have been at them and I had them hidden. TC Any chance of the recipe? As they look mighty tasty yum yum fill my tum. I'm not Welsh and I'm not in the stadium but I felt a shiver down the spine when the Welsh boys sang.

My uncle did a coat rack with deer feet, it was the dogs danglies. Must get it off him if he still has it and put pics up if I get it.

Yep, I haven't had it for 2 years because of that and subway for nearly a year.Some European country has apparently banned it due to cruelty concerns.

I agree and its necessary in the field its unnecessary in a modern slaughter house. And for those that vote with their feet KFC and subway both do halal now as well as all newzealand lamb. Don't forget Nandos, Pizza Express, Kingsmill Bread to name but a few.

Funny you should mention it, I eyed it up on my bookshelf a couple of days ago and thought I must get round to reading it. Well seeing as I borrowed it from a mate 4 or 5 years ago, oops. Seriously give it a read, you won't regret it and please let me know what you think Just took it off the shelf so will read a bit now. My favourite military book is my first edition signed The Phantom Major.

Crossfit, weights, bit of hillwalking and hoping to get into the shooting this year. Did some home brewing but just don't have the time but will get back into it properly in a couple of years. Did do some bread making and wasn't bad, loved the smell of it. I just love food and it tastes nicer if it's made or hunted etc.

It'll not happen, to long has passed and they would have had their statements assisted by solicitors. By the time they trace them all from wherever they are, adjournments and judicial reviews it will be years if ever that they set foot in a courtroom.

I can't put a link up but the Welsh government are thinking about subsidising a non stun halal slaughterhouse. Over 90,000 people have signed a petition. The British Vetinary Association don't want it to go ahead either. It's k. The daily mail if someone could stick the link up, cheers.

Read the book, it's about an ex legionnaire who is an American and the story is based in Italy. The character is in a few books all good reads. The author now deceased is AJ Quinnell.

Cheers folks, there is a few there to catch up on. I remember coming home from work at about 1am when I was 15, Das Boot was on so I had a couple of vodkas watching it lol it was a good show.

Just finished watching Ice Cold and now getting through The Wild Geese. Proper war films with decent actors. Any suggestions for any other old films of that genre?
