I like to put my hob a nd jll down a the same time obviously give the jill a few minutes then him it works and she will always be much faster than him ..it was last week i was digging down to my hob and i got a mark of 4 on his and 2 on hers thought a shes only going back through it but turned out she had one dead in a stop end and another backed up and he then had one dead in a tube ...but i do find hobs more thorough and will stick at the bunnys till they move or they kill em

  3. i think a Hound in general would mainly bring voice and size..Ive seen a foxhound cross springer before but he was only a pet
  4. exactly why not would they work well together I don't know never tried it I'm sure.someone has my.grandfather wud .swear by a spaniel for an job anywhere any cover and still would but he does acknowledge a good terrier but still wudnt have never bought one I guess ever hunter is different

    Id say most dogs will try go to ground I have seen a fox hound from the localpack try go in in pursuit of his qurry while the rest of them stood with there heads fixated at the entrance making that lovely music needless to say he didnt get in too far and was removed and he soon got his prize after it bolted
  6. Hunting mink is great fun with two mad jack russels and keeps em fit and ticking over
  7. I believe a terrier will suit some hunters and a spaniel suit others ..but for the sake of it why not just get a terrier X spaniel
  8. my two will only enter if there is scent od if there is a good rabbit bury inside or maybe even a charlie I think this comes down to experience

  11. Id go with one that suits you mate but some of the chicken runs on ebay look very good if you put them on a concrete base the_stig's first photo looks like ferret heaven
  12. I would take them to a neutral place e.g the garden introduce them there then if that goes ok put em in the hutch and keep an eye on them

  15. We have land very the same and in a certain area there is a few holes right on the edge of the tarmac net them all and nobody has ever queried us and its our third year doing it

  19. Lovely looking ferrets mate cant wait to get out with my two kits from this year I just think there still a bit small

  21. oh there is runts alright that's how the falconers get there micros I still have a picture of her and she's tiny and she is 6 months she's an absolute character but what she lacks in size she makes up for in bossiness she is definitely the boss out of my four
