So nobody feels they have a stake in the country. Nobody thinks the country is worth fighting for. Everybody feels alienated from government and state. Most feel the government is the enemy not the solution. Interesting times ahead I think. But what's the alternative? Answers on a postcard.

This is a bit of a curve ball but where does patriotism fit in all this? Vast swathes of British industry and high end property is now owned by non brits. Eighty per cent of the new oil and gas fields will be sold to the highest bidder, not to secure our own future energy needs. The British economy has relied on an endless of cheap foreign labour so R and D has never been awarded the same importance as it has in other developed countries. I've got more than a sneaking admiration for far Eastern people.They seem very positive and resourceful people to me. In measures of racial IQ they come out on top and in measures of criminality, they come bottom. The Chinese have transformed not only their own economy but vast sections of the West's economy too in an incredibly short period of time. Spot on. Well said mate. Same goes for rearing young kids and working at the same time. Something has to give. It's too stressful on everybody concerned. Sticking kids in nurseries at a crazy cost is inhuman imo. Women should at least be able to bring their babies up without having to hold down a crap job and have their kids nurtured by nursery assistants who are often teenagers. That's not progress.

I think a lot of men are scared of being seen as non feminists or mysoginists and go out out of their way to be ever so reasonable and let women f**k them over. Women seem to hold all the aces in relationships these days. And have no morals about getting their own way. As has been said a lot are narcissists.
