Think you've got me down for someone else Wilf. I don't remember advocating a tax on anything????

Judgemental that mate. Plenty of working people can't feed their families and have to go to food banks. I don't buy the argument that shoplifters put up prices. The supermarkets rip us off whatever the circumstances. There's a pub in Salford where I meet up with mates I started school with literally 70 years ago. You could always buy stuff there that had fallen off the back of a wagon, or was " spillage" from the docks. It used to be luxuries like perfume, watches, DVDs etc. Now sellers are opening their jackets and offering meat, cheese and household essentials. It's just people su
  3. I believe that with the introduction of female referees, players have been warned that they may be booked or sent off for fouls that they committed many years ago and which they believed had been long forgotten.

OK ,I get that the price of something is what the buyer is prepared to pay. Its not a fixed number, its fluid. I looked up the dictionary definition of theft:" removing of personal property with intent to deprive the rightful owner of it". We ,as taxpayers ,are the rightful owners and she took that money from us." I was brought up to believe it was OK to half inch from those that could afford it. But it was the lowest action possible to steal from your own people. In a time of war ,which the pandemic metaphorically was, it is doubly wrong to steal from your own as we all faced t

She admitted to trousering £60,000,000 in profit. It was probably more depending on who does the arithmetic. But as you say it's doubtful she will be punished in anyway and will keep her peerage. Yet broke shoplifters will face full force of the law. I saw a lad legging it out of a Tesco car park last week pursued by a security guard. If I was in a position to , I would have innocently tried to stand in the guard's way. I was delighted he managed to escape.
  6. I did that, she brought this fella called Rastus. Didn't do I for me.

Agree entirely with the first part of your post, I'm entirely in sync with that. The second part I've already answered. He and Mandelson hope to be reincarnated under Starmer. In fact Starmer is 'taking advice" from them. Part of their reincarnation is to hang doggedly say sorry to decent people partaking in country sports for destroying a part of British life. We all knew of the bung. But this is the first time they have openly admitted and apologised for what was blatant meddling in the country's identity. You say you don't want to appear confrontational. Its decades too late that

Now, now cynics and backbiters. I am merely pointing out that the situation in Britain is now starkly obvious. The very rich now control us whereas in the past foreign policy was more UK centric. Our national interests were pursued in preference to the interests of plutocrats and global capitalism. In a former age there was such a concept as one nation conservatism so british interests occasionally filtered down to Joe Public. There is now no pretence of one nation conservatism. Under Johnson, the tories accepted money from some very dodgy donors...Saudis and russians in particular. Let's

I was reading yesterday that Blair accepted £ 100000 from an anti organisation, LACS I think, which helped Labour win the election. Part of the deal was that he agreed to push though the hunting with dogs ban. He says he now regrets it. Cheers mate! We forgive you, just like the hundreds of thousands of dead Iraqis who were wiped out partly on the basis of a lie and a dodgy dossier. But the reality is that the country is now governed this way. Policies are decided by he who pays the piper. And many tory contributers are foreigners. What are they getting in return? Or more like it what
  11. I don't agree mate. Starmer will change things. Look at his policies. Er, er, well. His policies are, well, er, er. And furthermore he will legislate to er, er. And those policies will galvanise the country.
  12. Did you mean lack of socialism street? IE Tory_ dont_ give _ a Thatcher's _arse_ Street.
  13. Watch out for the bounce back when Man U demolish the scouse tomorrow. Revenge will be ours after last season's 7_0 drubbing. Our new 70 million striker will finally score his first premier goal. A penitent Sancho who also cost in excess of 70 million will humiliate the scouse defence. Rashford will rise from his comotose position and actually score or contribute and Martial, that eight year can't_ be_ arsed_ to_ run forward will awaken and take the kop by storm. Even Onana our wonder keeper will show how modern keepers can play the ball and dance his way from goalmouth to goalmouth before sc
  14. I'm always happy when I'm moaning. This time of year no daylight and pissin down, I'm happy moaning all day long. Theres a rule in our house though. As soon as Eastenders music is heard, the telly goes off. Drive anybody to the depths of despair that programme. The characters are the most whining feckers of all time.
  15. Nah then young un. Tha's too cynical. All t'dogs in Yorksheer are world beaters. All t'men are rock ard and fit as fook cos they trek up that Everest of a f****n t'hill ta collect thar Ovis every f****n t day. Yorksheer men call a spade a f****n t'spade and don't mind going t'nick for doing it. So theer think on Stiff lad and mind tha mouth cos a yorksheer real man will fill it for tha if thas not very careful. Now mind on where there's muck there's ass. Come on Mc get that soft southerner's postcode and teach t 'bugger a yorkshher lessun
  16. How about mines and steel plants closed. People with no sense of identity and community, young girls groomed by Pakistani grooming gangs. Food banks, spice, heroin. Two wages needed just to survive. Starvation sick pay and dole. No protection from dismissal. Renters spending half their income and more on extortionate rent. Legal no fault evictions. Local hospitals and schools failing. No NHS dentistry. Folk just about knackered before they can collect a pension. Immigration at record level despite brexit. Roads crumbling, public services starved. Be a great watch. Just about as miserable
  17. Fat sod used to waddle about Rochdale Town centre playing the local boy made good and shaking hands with everyone. I used to give him a body swerve. He made me feel uncomfortable. Meanwhile he was abusing kids in residential care. He was one of those like Saville who worshipped his mother. These evil sods get away with it because the rest of us are so naive and innocent that we don't think such evil is possible in people.
  18. Three photographs of the royals have pissed me off this week. The first which had me reaching for the vomit bucket was Kate Middleton in her jewels posing next to the kiddie who had to have his legs amputated following parental abuse. f**k me had the kid not had enough abuse in his life without the royals muscling in on national, sympathy? The second was William dressed in a Big Issues seller's hat and vest. Christ who are they trying to kid? Pretending to give a shit, whilst they have obscene, tax funded wealth and any number of luxury homes. Has he no shame? The third was the " h
  19. Sickened me Oxfam workers were exchanging food for sex. How low is that?
  20. Kills me that keeper's are now supposed to be good with their feet and play out from the back and be part of this new pressing game. We used to call it attacking football and all keeper's used to receive the ball and THROW it with accuracy and speed to one of their own men. Smeichel, was a master at it. He could deliver a ball precisely to a player's feet on the half way line if necessary. He wasn't the only one. Memo to Ten Haag and others....keepers have an advantage, they can use their arms to distribute the ball. And they can dictate the tempo of the game by speedy delivery.
  21. I like donkeys and I'm old, but I ain't daft enough to squander two quid a week. Lol Those ads, often on at peak pensioner viewing times, are out of order. Sheer manipulation of people who can't afford to keep these charity fat cats in their rip off salaries. They are just the same as Internet preachers/ beggars. Five million? That takes some getting your head around.
  22. I remember being at Appleby horse fair and a gypo unloaded a white, blue eyed, feathered stallion approaching 16 hands with a magnificent trailing mane,. I'm not kidding ,everybody went quiet at its appearance. I dont like horses, but I can appreciate their beauty, like the Mobil stallion and the horse at Appleby. They are great... at a safe distance and as long as I dont have to feed, farrier and vet them.
  23. I'm not knocking Fergie, he delivered beyond belief, neither am I splitting hairs, but there were other transfer flops other than the ones you mentioned. Taibi, Bebe, the Jemba brothers. The successes even I could see were class players, except Van Nistelroy, a comparative unknown who I think is the best striker we've ever had. Look at what Mourhino left us with:_ Pogba! Is he the biggest waste of money in the history of the club? Perhaps not, he also signed Sanchez! He also signed Bailly and Fred...not great additions. Van Gaal signed duds like Rojo, Schweinsteiger and Romero. Al
  24. It's an embarrassing gimmick. Rawanda has been given 240 million pounds with another 50 million promised. They must be rubbing their eyes in disbelief at this gift which keeps on giving. The tories hope this will make them look tough but people see through them. Another own goal to add to their omnishambles government.
