Walking stick is a necessity for me now on terrain like that. My knees are ok going up but painful on the way down . A staff saves the kees a lot of work and pain.

I've always been interested in how different species recognise play mode in each other. I used to have a cat, a dog and a ferret which played together. Check out these polar bears playing with sled dogs. These bears are hungry!

I enjoyed it. The bald lad didn't have any defence at all. Better than your average gypsy fight by far. Couple of game lads who would both be sore in the morning. You wonder about the wisdom of fighting in that condition, at that age with no doctor present. Wonder how well paid it is?

There was a piece about Bradley on last night's Look North. He has now received 75000 cards. He's to receive a new treatment from America which, it is hoped will extend his life for several months but it's not a cure. His goal for Sunderland will feature on Match of the Day.

My first choice would have been Guardiola. But the new reality is that we could not afford him. Since he's gone to the 'noisy neighbours' i would appoint Eddie Howe, proven ability, very sharp and burning ambition. I would give him a long contract and let him develop into the job.

Man U is in my blood but I can't accept Mourhino. I've tried and tried but to me he will always be a two -faced bully. It's all about his ego. Sooner he leaves the better. He is the most slappable manager in football. Mind you if we win the Europa cup and the Champions League next year, I might change my mind. But I don't think so. As for Rojo, I've been saying for some time that he is completely out of control to the point of recklessness. I think doormen/bouncers have cleaned up their act lot compared to yesteryear. I think most punters will go along with a reasonable request by a reasonable guy on the door. It's when people in authority let their power go to their heads that you get angry punters. The doorman in the video acted very responsibly. Some people in authority have a way with them that means they rarely get trouble, whereas others bring on trouble all the time.
