Come on Nik b, you're one of these ultra-hard working successful tories with a degree and a dynamic, cutting edge rat catching empire..Is this a good manifesto for you?

Why do I keep thinking turkeys voting for Christmas?

Remember 'Thatcher the milk snatcher?'Well her horrible apparition is back, but this time it's May, literally stealing the dinners out of our children's mouths. Imagine standing on that platform -'we will take free lunches away from all children' and people actually voting for that! Only in the UK. Yes they will promise to give free breakfasts instead, knowing that option is less nutritious and a lot cheaper. Pure evil. Let them eat McDonalds' crap and fizzy drinks, after all children must have free choice say the tories... that's why kids are so bloody fat these days. I see this first hand,

Could make a brilliant surgeon. She obviously is not bothered by the sight of blood.

Yes it was well grown.I guess we will never know why it behaved liked that.

What a load of shite....stay loyal to your class!?!?! Lol what corbyn and Abbott lol he's got a 3 million pension pot. She sends her kids to private school. I grew up on a council estate, grafted all my life....I'm doing just fine. Want more from life?? Earn it! You think labour can be trusted with the economy? Lol like the last time they tried? No socialist government has ever been a success. The direction for Britain is a hard brexit. The direction for me is over turning the hunting ban. Do I trust the Tories...no! But at this election we have no choice because the opposition is anti me

Times have changed I'm afraid your just falling into that category of I'm voting Labour coz my grandpa did by the sounds of it and thats exactly what they want because they have to do nothing for your vote. No mate, I'm voting Labour for what they offer in the future.

watch I've had an baby otter follow me along a river bank. It whistled all the time. My take on it was that it had become separated from its mother and was just following movement out of habit. Maybe the same thing was happening here???? The guy in the video was a wuss lol.

So the Irish ran bailiffs out of town and refused to pay for their water. I like the sound of that. I might come and live next door to you mate, I qualify for a passport as my mother was Irish. We could have many a fight over a pint.lol.

Look at the improvements Labour has made to the lives of working people over the last 100 years:........................ State pensions, the NHS, universal vaccinations, affordable, publicly- owned rented housing, an education system which allows access to the top universities for the working class, sick pay, employment rights, the minimum wage. Even under the Blair years the Labour government doubled spending on the NHS, and made huge inroads into child and pensioner poverty. All of these improvements were viciously opposed by the tories. The only thing I can think of that the tories have in

Any Planned Litters Or Pups On The Ground?
jukel123 replied to Earth&Turf's topic in Lurchers & Running Dogs
PM Northernlite. Two beddy grey litters. Check his posts, good dogs. PS I am not on commission, I don't know the bloke, but I'd have a pup from him if I wasn't already over dogged. -
Not from what I read constantly on this site and frankly coming out of every 'working man's' mouth. Haven't you heard? Apparently it's not the poor hard done by working man's fault for taking a loan that he can't manage, it's the lender's fault! See that's how society works now, we're not responsible for our own actions, it's every one else's fault. Makes perfect sense to me! Why do the British hate freedom and responsibility so much? I can see Labour having a landslide. It's straight out of their mantra. My nephew was made redundant. He has two kids. His rent was astronomical but for

Because it's legitimate business that is regulated to stop the debt getting to be even a tiny fraction of what you claimed it to be and all outlawing it would do is further protect people from their own stupidity. I'm not stupid and frankly I find it insulting how as a society we seem to beg the government to protect us from our own stupidity. Keep taking away citizens responsibility and they'll happily continue to become more irresponsible. It's no solution! Maybe I give the average man on the street (like me!) too much credit? Maybe he does need his arse wiping for him and spoon feeding?

I just looked again at 'Quickquid' the payday lender I was on about. I was mistaken the APR is 1295%, more than I quoted.. Fair enough you are supposed to repay the loan within a few months but that's how they draw you in for life because, inevitably, borrowers cannot afford to pay the debt within a few months. Hence the vicious cycle. I cannot understand you defending these companies. They should be outlawed.

Saw an advert on telly for a loan company,QUICKQUID, I think. They charge 1250% interest. If you charged that in the middle ages you would be horsewhipped and hung. Those rates just intensify poverty.Absolutely unacceptable.

I hate all this poverty porn crap....Benefits Street etc. Anybody on benefits is on the bones of their arse. Most people dread being on benefits. If it's so good why do we move heaven and hell to avoid it? These programmes just distract us from the real unfairness in society, the mega tax dodgers (many of them politicians), the way wealth is divided, (we get feck all the filthy rich get richer), the multinationals doing sweetheart deals etc, etc. Some of the multinationals have turnovers bigger than many countries, but pay next to nothing in tax. If you're lucky you don't get called up to fi

Fantastic to see the kiddie running and stamping for the first time and the other kids' pleasure in running with her. Pity we become such horrible feckers when we get old.
