Yeah, I accept that mate but lurchers that consistently win races will just have more pure grey or whippet blood. Any lurcher worth its salt would refuse to chase a dummy. They know the difference or would just cut the bends even if they did chase.

Well I've heard staments from everybody this morning except the british government. It's demonstrative of the contempt they have for the electorate. I'm told by the Irish government there will be no hard border and we can now proceed to trade talks with the EU. Thanks for keeping us in the loop messrs Davis and May. Nothing wrong with a surprise smack on the arse. I've a whippet here 10 years old. When I brought her home at 6 weeks she was bloody feral. She used to growl if you picked her up. Completely ignored you except at meal times. Didn't like to be stroked and didn't react to changes in voice tone or even follow you off the lead. I don't think anybody would buy a deer/grey to excel either as a daytime or lamping dog. There are better animals for both those jobs. People keep them because of their temperament and their aesthetically pleasing looks. They are great to be around. If you are into numbers look elsewhere.
