  1. Yeah, I accept that mate but lurchers that consistently win races will just have more pure grey or whippet blood. Any lurcher worth its salt would refuse to chase a dummy. They know the difference or would just cut the bends even if they did chase.
  2. Lurcher racing seems daft to me. Greyhounds and whippets should race. Lurchers should catch.
  3. Blimey,is she still on the go? Remember her from "A Taste of Honey"
  4. Did he cough up financially when he left? If not, tell him you will meet him again when he's settled up with your mother. I'm serious. Splitting up is one thing. Abandoning all financial responsibility is unforgivable in my book.
  5. Lenny McLean.zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. Big violent abused bloke. Not unbeatable even at his own game. Nowhere near the standard required for pro boxing. Scary fecker. Involved in lowlife stuff. zzzzzzzz. Not a film I would bother watching. Can't see how it could be interesting. That negative enough for you Walshie? If you want my opinion on any other film I haven't watched, let me know.
  6. They can definitely survive in the wild. Bolted a few ferals over the years. So could well be the one that went AWOL.
  7. How many times do you hear of d/g/c/g producing great dogs! Time we went back to basics. I would love one from proven parents.
  8. Do what your gut tells you.Advice is just speculation really, you know the full facts, you feel the situation, nobody else. Don't listen to all these nosy, gossipy old women on here. They know feck all, bunch of sweetie wives. And I don't mean Kay or Skycat. Where's that feckin coat of mine.
  9. Were they second cross deer/greys? Or did they have other blood as well?
  10. How you getting on with those 40 inch boobs Kanny? Stretchmarks a problem?

What's a white walker and why don't you like them? No comprende.
  15. She says it's a great deal and we can now concentrate on the NHS, education and housing as political priorities. That would be the same NHS which, because of underfunding, presided over 120,000 excess deaths over the last several years.( According to the British Medical Association Journal.) That would be the same education service which is facing a 8% cut by 2020. The same education service which cannot attract or retain teachers and whose headteachers are taking early retirement en masse. The same housing situation which means 300,000 people slept rough last night (-5 degrees), where young c
  16. Well I've heard staments from everybody this morning except the british government. It's demonstrative of the contempt they have for the electorate. I'm told by the Irish government there will be no hard border and we can now proceed to trade talks with the EU. Thanks for keeping us in the loop messrs Davis and May. What breathtaking contempt and arrogance they display.
  17. Top man! Bravest sportsmen of the lot those jockeys. Wouldn't catch me on one of those beasts.
  18. Do you use him as a lurcher? How do you rate him? Did you get stung for the damage to the car? I only ask because I lost a dog under the wheels of a car and I also paid the damage to the guy's car. Double crap.
  19. Retrieving lurchers are like women , some will, willingly, others won't,no matter how much you coax.
  20. Nothing wrong with a surprise smack on the arse. I've a whippet here 10 years old. When I brought her home at 6 weeks she was bloody feral. She used to growl if you picked her up. Completely ignored you except at meal times. Didn't like to be stroked and didn't react to changes in voice tone or even follow you off the lead. One day she stopped at some putrid garbage and ignored me when I growled at her to leave it. I scruffed her and bollocked her. Literally from that moment on she was a changed dog and began to realise I meant business. She was 4 months old then.I have never had to fall out w
  21. I don't think anybody would buy a deer/grey to excel either as a daytime or lamping dog. There are better animals for both those jobs. People keep them because of their temperament and their aesthetically pleasing looks. They are great to be around. If you are into numbers look elsewhere.
