I remember him as a come forward boxer. I've been re watching some of his fights. Top notch. Everything was much more honest in those days. Terry Lawless must have had some fighters through his hands. I particularly remember Kaylor because I remember him being interviewed and him saying he could breathe a lot better because he had had a sinus operation. I never went on any of the fishing trips because I spoke to others who confirmed what you said, it was a glorified boat ride. However a mate of mine did go and got a marlin the same height as himself. There were homeless people near out hotel too. But they slept in cars. They never begged from us and looked quite smart...maybe they had jobs. Plenty of homeless people sleeping rough on benches in the parks. I'll say one thing for Wilder, he's not a quitter. I'm not sure the same can be said for Joshua or Dubois and a few others. I gave Dubois the benefit of the doubt when he had the orbital fracture of his eye against Joyce. But he showed his fragile psyche again against Usyk. Neither Dubois or Joshua are the real deal for me.

I've been watching some old British middleweight fights. Brilliant entertainment from genuine fighters who didn't duck each other and enjoyed the sport: Kaylor,Sibson,Minter, Finnegan, Graham, Christie and others. When you watch these fights you realise how much boxing has deteriorated. They are a breath of fresh air. I'm not interested in MMA etc, but at least those guys are genuine pugilists. Which is more than you can say for many modern British boxers.

There must have been a device under the van which supported him. I can't see anybody being able to cling onto the underbody of a van without a support system of some sort. That is if he did escape under the van as the press are saying. He could have been inside it. The army's vetting system must be shit. There's a major clue in his surname...Khalife! I've been a couple of times and not overawed to say the least . Stayed at Los Gigantes which is less touristy and pricey. To me the island is not a pretty place...too much concrete and not enough wild life. Hardly any birds and not enough lizards butterflies or exotic looking insects. I'm going to Gran Canaria for Xmas,I don't expect it to be any different,although there are large lizards there. The Canaries imo, are islands which have grown to service tourists only. I agree that imams have taken no responsibility for the actions of these animals. They, along with the wives and girlfriends of the abusers, just dont get it. Some of the Rochdale abusers have done their time and are brazenly walking the streets.

I freely admit I find the Quran recital and its translation into various languages horrible and abusive. From a marketing point of view the dolls will be aimed at muslim parents who think they are doing their kids a favour by teaching them the Quran in Arabic and translating Arabic into a tongue they un derstand. I think everybody will agree with that post WD. We have become complacent and apathetic in this country. As a result we have become powerless. The last time we said enough was enough was when we rioted over the poll tax. The poll tax favoured the rich and punished the poor. Guess what? The government withdrew the proposed tax.

Any advice on how to deal with gypsy women? I just keep tight hold of my possessions and shout " f**k off". How do Spaniards deal with them? Any point in shouting pickpocket (caterista) at them? What does deter them if anything? I was in Teneriffe recently, we came out of the airport and within seconds a gypsy lad had his hand in my wife's bag. Fortunately, he legged it without getting anything from her bag. It was a great holiday mind, I got food poisoning,lost a tooth,and we both ended the holiday with covid.lol.

I voted for Brexit. I dont accept I'm confused about immigration or asylum and definitely not confused about multiculturalism. I lived in Rochdale mate, on the infamous Ashfield Valley housing estate,with a kid sister I had custody of. I'll let you have the last word. We've both got better ways to spend our days than arguing on tinternet.
