  1. Is that paid work or voluntary?
  2. The pup just needs a girl guide with a spare 450 notes. It will then become a blind dog for the guide. Boom boom.
  3. I've got it now lads. Thanks. Brilliant app.
  4. Fair, the Dangerous Dogs Act is a farce but it's not exactly policed. You can find apbt litters openly advertised. If we had compulsory insurance, cops could take these dogs if owners could not produce an insurance policy. No insurance,no dog.
  5. American stats show the apbt to be involved in more attacks and fatalities than any other breed by far. Compulsory, breed specific insurance would deter a lot of idiots from owning aggressive dogs. Just been reading that Eskimos often de_ fang their sled dogs to stop them killing each other and children. Don't think that would go down well as solution here though.
  6. I was asked for my credit card details. Is that normal or did I do something wrong?

    Gold

I've got some gold coins you can have mate. Just send me your address. A friend of mine discovered a roman coin. Research revealed it to be awarded to somebody who had served 25 years in the roman army. The coin entitled the bearer to a pension and an acre of land in Italy. I have sleepless nights wondering whether the bloke ,lost all his benefits along with the coin.Lol. I have a military coin which belonged to my grandad. It was awarded for service in the Boer war. I also have a photo of him looking out of the bars of a glasshouse. He apparently went apeshit when he lost a boxin
  8. Think it's you who is changing the goal posts Chid. Initially you stated the practice does not exist, now you claim its perfectly legitimate. But its not OK. Obviously it's folk with no money who are affected by this policy. Forcibly fitting a meter does not make a vulnerable pensioner or children of a broke parent warm. It means people get cold because there is no money to feed the meter.. And that is not pleasant believe me. No violins, but I have been there as a kid. How about energy companies taking a tiny hit on their obscene profits, incurred by a tiny minority of custo
  9. Think your post would shock an American or a French person. They have a strong sense of having basic human rights.. You can't have people breaking into vulnerable people's homes. People fall on hard times. That doesn't give the fat cat energy companies the right to break down your door.
  10. A warrant allows them to break into your house if you are not in or refuse entry. Magistrates rubberstamp these warrants without any qualms. An English man's home is his castle. It's not on.
  11. I prefer mine with tomatoes and egg.
  12. /d/img/dual-masthead-placeholder-16x9-6a9822c61a.png Exposed: How British Gas debt agents break into homes of vulnerable WWW.THETIMES.CO.UK British Gas routinely sends debt collectors to break into customers’ homes and force-fit pay-as-you-go meters, even when they are known to have extreme vulnera
  13. We all know keeping running dogs these days is a risky business. Even a country walk with a lurcher can sometimes bring you to the attention of the police. However, I think I have the solution. I am going to buy this blind sighthound pup with a split nose. That way I can reassure concerned policemen that I am not in pursuit of game or vermin. Her name is Precious and she is a snip at £450.00. What do you reckon? Just a moment... WWW.PETS4HOMES.CO.UK

    Gold

A gypsy guy I know wears a lot of gold. He's got gold necklaces which rival a super rich rap performer. He says his fingers are too fat for anybody to remove his gold rings. I don't like to tell him that wouldn't stop certain determined robbers.
  15. It's true mate, private companies can break into your home and install pre_ payment meters. I live in Scotland where a few weeks back, a law was passed making it illegal to hunt rabbits with dogs. As you yanks say: ' go figure'. If you can dodge the crossfire from bullets, you are better off where you are bud.
  16. According to Nigel Farage, the "Labour Party is to the right of the Conservative party on immigration".
  17. Thanks, always good to exchange opinions in a civilised fashion.
  18. I never claimed I was a working class hero. Lol. Typical, go for the man and not the ball. You forgot to ask for my postcode and denounce me as a traitor.Lol Mr Capital letter TRUEBIT, do you deny the tories have lost control of immigration and the country is fed up to the back teeth with sleazy , corrupt Conservative leadership? The polls certainly suggest so. No amount of wrapping a union jack around yourself and angrily attacking others with a different viewpoint will change that. Calm down and have a nice day.
  19. Why did they taser the geezer? I can see more of a case for shooting the dogs than I can for tasering the owner. I thought tasering a member of the public is a last resort only to be undertaken when a guy is threatening serious violence and has a knife or club. There was enough plod to overpower and arrest the guy without resorting to a taser.
  20. The Telegraph is reporting today, that in 2022, immigration into the UK under the tories was up to one million people. It was also the tories who took us into Europe and accepted God how many people under free movement. ( Nobody knows the true number because apparently there is no mechanism to count them.) So I don't buy the idea that Labour is the party of uncontrolled immigration and the tories the party which brings the drawbridge up. The evidence does not support this. Ironically, for the right, immigrants since brexit tend to be darker in skin colour since European immigration
  21. I had permission on a farm inear Haltwhistle There were literally thousands of rabbits on it. Within one season they had gone victim to the new viral disease.
  22. Me and the wife took a trip along the A69 last week.( No puns please.) We stopped at Haltwhistle for a meal. We passed an army of kids with a ragged army of lurchers, terriers and mongrels . They were proudly carrying a hare and a couple of rabbits. Made our day! f**k your shitty, ridiculous laws. You cannot control natural instincts and a way of life. What's that got to do with red deer? f**k knows.
  23. The thread was about the legitimacy of the monarchy, not immigration. But if you want my thoughts on immigration, and political party support, I am pro old Labour which represented the working class, not keen on Bliar's or Starmer's new Labour. I voted for Brexit to stop uncontrolled immigration. There was too much pressure on housing, the NHS ...and wages were kept low by a continual supply of cheap labour. Nothing against immigrants or their skin colour , that's the preoccupation of the right or the far right. But I am not in favour of uncontrolled immigration. The UK's infrastr
