Fair, the Dangerous Dogs Act is a farce but it's not exactly policed. You can find apbt litters openly advertised.If we had compulsory insurance, cops could take these dogs if owners could not produce an insurance policy. No insurance,no dog.

American stats show the apbt to be involved in more attacks and fatalities than any other breed by far. Compulsory,breed specific insurance would deter a lot of idiots from owning aggressive dogs. Just been reading that Eskimos often de_ fang their sled dogs to stop them killing each other and children. Don't think that would go down well as solution here though.

Obviously it's folk with no money who are affected by this policy. Forcibly fitting a meter does not make a vulnerable pensioner or children of a broke parent warm. Think your post would shock an American or a French person. They have a strong sense of having basic human rights.. You can't have people breaking into vulnerable people's homes. People fall on hard times. That doesn't give the fat cat energy companies the right to break down your door.

A warrant allows them to break into your house if you are not in or refuse entry. Magistrates rubberstamp these warrants without any qualms. An English man's home is his castle. It's not on.

We all know keeping running dogs these days is a risky business. Even a country walk with a lurcher can sometimes bring you to the attention of the police. However, I think I have the solution. I am going to buy this blind sighthound pup with a split nose. That way I can reassure concerned policemen that I am not in pursuit of game or vermin. Why did they taser the geezer? I can see more of a case for shooting the dogs than I can for tasering the owner. I thought tasering a member of the public is a last resort only to be undertaken when a guy is threatening serious violence and has a knife or club. There was enough plod to overpower and arrest the guy without resorting to a taser.

The Telegraph is reporting today, that in 2022, immigration into the UK under the tories was up to one million people. It was also the tories who took us into Europe and accepted God how many people under free movement. ( Nobody knows the true number because apparently there is no mechanism to count them.) So I don't buy the idea that Labour is the party of uncontrolled immigration and the tories the party which brings the drawbridge up. The evidence does not support this. Me and the wife took a trip along the A69 last week.( No puns please.) We stopped at Haltwhistle for a meal. We passed an army of kids with a ragged army of lurchers, terriers and mongrels . They were proudly carrying a hare and a couple of rabbits. Made our day! f**k your shitty, ridiculous laws. You cannot control natural instincts and a way of life. The thread was about the legitimacy of the monarchy, not immigration. But if you want my thoughts on immigration, and political party support, I am pro old Labour which represented the working class, not keen on Bliar's or Starmer's new Labour.
