Just watched North London Derby. I was appreciating the silky skills of Saka and then he cynically tried to get a man sent off for a fifty fifty challenge. Absolute shithouse. There are some arseholes about. I stopped my car on a quiet country road to give a cyclist the right of way rather than squeeze past him at speed. He drew level and said " there's plenty of room ". Complete dick.

Minds a lot sharper than mine have been writing for years that the British economy has relied on an inexhaustible supply of cheap labour. The result has been that the UK has not invested in training and new technology to the same extent as our competitors. As a result, productivity in the UK has not kept pace with the rest of Europe. The tories then blame the workers and call us "idle shirkers." This is rich from people who are totally parasitical. The brits are working their bollocks off just to stand still.

I didn't know that but I know it can increase your risk of heart attack if taken for too long. The same is true of Ibuprofen. OK for you young fellas but not for oldies. I only take it for a few days. My doc says take Ibuprofen for only a week when my arthritis is bad, but I hardly ever bother with it. As the Scots say" old age doesn't come alone".

Diclofenac is good stuff. I occasionally get it in my big toe. One pill and you can almost see rhe swelling subsiding. I always ask my doc for a supply so I can treat it immediately rather than go through a lengthy appointment system.

I've always had a bike but never in a club. I like my own company on a bike.A few years back I pushed a mountain bike up Skiddaw and freewheeled slowly down. On the lower slopes keen mountain bikers said to me " you must be mad" I had no helmet or any proper gear. Sounds like I'm coming the big I Am but honestly I just didn't know the score. I enjoyed it anyway. I suppose I could have broken something but sheer amaterishnees is sometimes a good thing.

The problem is people jump out of their skin whether you sound your bell or give a warning shout from way back. I cycle on quiet country roads and people are either talking to each other or in world of their own and are startled whatever noise you make.

I say that because I used to mull on things like this at work and get worked up and sound aggressive. It was like using a sledgehammer to crack a nut. I learned I was better off just being pleasant but assertive. ( But I did want to put my fist down the back of their throats..time for my medication.) Lol

These kids come in all bright and bushy tailed and expect everybody to be the same. They don't know anything about family worries and money worries and how people feel undervalued, underpaid and f****n knackered after a lifetime of graft. I found them a real pain in the arse. I hate it when employees get checked up on all the time. I refuse to comment when I get phone calls asking me to rate my experience of an employee who has been doing work in my house. Give people some dignity ffs.

Seems a common sense reaction. Nothing in your contract to allow them to take your photo and stick it on the Web. They probably want to add words coming out of your mouth like. " I love working in this team. There's great camaraderie. I'm passionate about my work.zzzzzzzzz" When the opposite is true.

Teachers cannot have sex with former pupils under 18. Maybe celebrities should be barred from kids under 18 too. There's a line from a Motor head track which goes:" you're jail bait,and I just can't wait". If the law was 18 for celebrities it might stop some exploitation of minors.

What age should the legal age of consent be? To a guy my age 16 seems like a baby,but if you make it higher you will criminalise a good proportion of 16 year olds.
