It's no good, Rob. I just can't get past this .......... That Has To Be quite simply The Most appealing bit of work I have ever seen in my entire f**king life! I once cased up a wren which I'd bought from my old mate, Andy Henry (RIP ) When he saw it - I used to buy stuff off him, on the wires. Case it with ground work and he'd then sell it on for me - he was entranced. So much so, in fact, that he just stared at and studied it for a long time. That's what I was thinking, Walshie. Similar to our own, new, system. Used to be about €45.00, per gun, per year. Now we pay, what ever, for three years. Actually, it's quite nice, to be honest. Because, I mean, ye Know it's coming! Not like this €300.00 bill just lands on ye mat. (I have two guns) And, once ye've paid for it? Relax! No more shit for a whole three years! For me, considering the taxi fares alone involved in getting from pillar to post, trying to catch evasive Gards and get rubber stamping done? It's actually, quite likely, saving me a small f**king fortune!

The Wire is the only thing on tv that could ever give The Soprano's a run, mate. Since then, we've had Breaking Bad. Sons of Anarchy. Dexter. Good shit. But, that shit was Legendary. Those two set the bar. Each of the two boxed sets have consistently held their high value for f**king years now. Oh, and Don Draper, from Mad Men ....? I've made scores of starling, and similar, nest boxes. Now, I've suddenly forgotten How!!! I make the sides 15" at the back. Sloping to 12" at the front. I always thought I cut a 30" plank in half. But, last time, I was taking a lump off the end of each plank. So, this time, I had them cut to 28". Thinking to factor out that wastage ..... Behold ....! WTF is That all about?! What f**king measurements do I apply to these planks, to get two, equal, sloped roofs, please? I've done it for years. Now I've lost it! This is doing my f**king head Right in! I wond

I'd hardly say I'm an " expert ", Neil. Far from it! All I can really add is that both wagtails and creeps are what's categorised as " Passerines ". That's to say their feet were designed for perching. (That may throw ye, till ye consider, say, ducks. Their feet are effectively, primarily, paddles. They don't grip perches. They're not passerines. See?) What fascinates me now is this: Has anyone ever personally seen a Treecreeper walking on the ground ....?
