    I have always thought the army should be encourage to do something similar. It would be a nice bit of relaxation for them once back from an arduous tour to spend a few hours trolling the web and then agree to meet them in a nice secluded spot....

    By "proper riots" I suppose you mean far more forceful than the last ones? Where more police and innocent residents are injured? Where more random people lose their property and livelihood? Where more businesses are destroyed? Where the country as a whole loses more money that could go to extra dialysis machines, firemen, or social housing? Fortunately you are in a minority.

    I had a dog that lived in doors and was fussed over all the time, but there was never any problem with the bond between the two of us. Whenever we went out she made sure I knew exactly what she wanted me to do

    Eyes are scary, everything else is fine. I had a wound open to the bone in my left shin for months and only went back to the hospital when it went green and started to smell, but anything in my eyes makes me run in to wash it out and get a scotch to calm my nerves

    I have a few scopes, but both the air rifle and the 10/22 have Bushnell 4-12 x 42 and they work perfectly.

    I had a look at this scope last night and it is 100% as new with the warranty card still to be registered. He would accept £750 for it and it can be posted or collected from Rugby (or Portsmouth or Felixstowe if you can wait a few days).

    Facebook won't do anything so I am going to print out every page and submit it to Suffolk police as behaviour likely to cause a breach of the peace. I suggest we try and get the same done in every county.

    Not sure. He has no use for it, but I guess he would like as much as he can get. I spoke to him for the first time in ages today and am meeting him for a beer on Monday, so will pass on whatever offers I get. Sorry for not being able to be more helpful.

    A friend one one of these in a competition last year, has never used it and has now offered it to me as he wants to buy a shotgun. It's a beautiful scope but I prefer higher magnification, so if anyone cares to make a reasonable offer ......

    There would never have been this argument if Whitworth hadn't meddled about and started standardising stuff. Before him you just made a random barrel and made balls to fit it.

    It's no good at all., I shot a wood pigeon loads and loads of times and it still flew away, while with my "real" paintball gun it only takes around 20 shots to knock them out. Plus my garden is now covered in little yellow balls, which don't look anywhere near as impressive as the paint balls

    While some rifles prefer different ammo to others, ammo loyalty is harder to budge than getting an Arsenal fan to go support Spurs. I have used Eley subs for ten years and never considered anything else as they have proved perfect for me. Six years ago I met someone with exactly the same view of Winchesters and we tried 20 of each others ammo on paper. At 65 yards the grouping of each rifle moved by 3-4 inches, but the actual groups were the same size as before. Logically we both know we could change ammo without a problem, but neither of us did.

    With the idiots that abound in this country I think the limit should be kept. It's a bit of a pain to apply and pay for a license, but the truth is that if you have a valid reason for a rifle and haven't done anything wrong (or been declared nuts), you can get one.

    Simple plan: take the white wine out of the fridge and dispose of it before it gets warm. After than if the house is starting to get cold, dispose of the red wine before it chills to much. After that and the scotch I won't even notice if the power comes back on
